Wow fancy dining alongside an ancient castle with a nice relaxed outdoor terrace then come here. Excellent friendly service and great price. Good casual food. Eating lunch by a castle has to be done !

Great meal, very imaginative. We had various set menus, all excellent. The soup at pistou had a tomato sorbet...not sure the cold was my favorite, but interesting. Ile flotant a twist on an old standard, too. We sat outside, watched the world go by, and also visited the kitchen. Clean, friendly, lovely. Walked to castle afterwards.

Restaurant staff were friendly and inviting and food was great. This was one of the only places around that you could just have a drink and soak up the great atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced and was always busy when we were in or just passed by. Well worth a visit if you are staying over that side of town.

The set menus amongst the restaurants of Carcassonne are all very similar, but we were very happy with their cassoulet lunch menu, which included a generous quantity of duck, and their creme brûlée was good. Friendly and helpful staff, nice environment, no complaints!

We visited for an anniversary dinner because the restaurant is close to us and we had never been. Tucked away this restaurant has a quirky style with lots of interesting items on display. The service was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were served very quickly. The food was beautiful both in taste and in presentation. All ingredients are locally sourced which is something else to celebrate. It is quite expensive but you really do get what you pay for and it is certainly worth saving up for special occasions. Highly recommend and we will return soon.

We tasted delicious dishes Mediterranean Mullet carpaccio, Goats curd in smoked ham, Butter roasted hanger steak & sweetbreads, Trout soufflé and delicious deserts. The service was excellent, warm friendly and nothing was too much trouble. OverallI enjoyed a great lunch here, great food with a service to match and when we arrived we relaxed in the cocktail bar and enjoyed signature cocktails whilst we browsed the menu, a great start to our experience. We were so fortunate to get a table and a very warm welcome on a Saturday evening.We were spoilt for choice with the excellent choices of Tartines with a soup or salad.The owner was really helpful,fun and quite a character.I had the Vegetarian Tartine and the flavours and combinations were incredible.We had a recently made Tarte Tartin,excellent wine and a homemade liquor.It made a pleasant change from Cassoluet.

My pizza expert of a wife, who is eating for two, went to this restaurant last night for dinner after reading the reviews here on trip advisor. Firstly the restaurant is much nicer than would first appear, with a lovely outdoor space round back! The staff are very friendly and helpful as our French is probably at a beginner level. The pizzas themselves were fantastic and unique! Although I felt mine was a bit confused with too many ingredients! Never the less it was delicious. My wife had a margarita which she couldnât finish and has the rest for lunch today (yes I am jealous). We also shared a side salad which was delicious! However, the dessert stole the show! We managed to find some space for the panna cotta, with a mango sauce and crunchy chocolate it was fantastic! We would certainly go back and recommend, I would say it narrowly misses out on a fifth star, as I do think there are slightly better pizzas out there still! But this is coming from a couple who spent two weeks travelling around Italy eating pizza! Please go visit I promise you wonât be disappointed!

We walked from Carcassonne marina (1.5 miles) to this restaurant which is in an unlikely and unattractive setting. But, on entering the garden and meeting the staff were immediately enchanted with it. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, we had lamb and mixed fish dishes, followed by cheese selection and then a sweet. The house red and white wines were both pleasant. When the temperature dropped slightly the staff were generous with blankets for any who needed them and our overall experience was wonderful.All at a surprisingly low price.Highly recommended!
