We first stopped by here for afternoon drinks and were impressed by the place, on a top of a hill, next to a monastery. Lunch / brunch next day was a disappointment - the salad was not chopped at all, the appetizer chicken was almost like KFC...and so super expensive for a restaurant in Spanish countryside - main courses up to 40 euros! My suggestion is to eat elsewhere and enjoy the beautiful terrace & views for lazy afternoon drinks.Dear visitor, we are sorry that you could not enjoy the food in "El Refugio de Chilla" besides having a refreshment. I think you did not know what to ask for, perhaps not speaking Spanish. The main dish to which alludes 40 euros, is a large steak to share between two people. None of our main courses exceeds 20 euros. The chicken to which you make mention is thought mainly as a dish for children, although many adults ask for it and they love it.Gastrosaludos de todo el equipo de "El Refugio de Chilla".

Una bonita terraza con chorros de agua para refrescar a los comensales y raciones considerables. La carne excelente, carta sencilla donde prevalece la cantidad y la calidad que la sofisticación. El hotel restaurante acoge también una zona verde de césped con higueras cuidadas para tomar el sol junto a una presa o zona de baño. Las patatas fritas muy ricas y el servicio atento; que más se puede pedir?

Nos quedamos sin probar la paella porque debes reservarla con demasiada antelación. De todas formas comimos de menú y las que vimos desfilar tampoco llamaban mucho la atención. Comida normal muy mejorable, sobre todo los primeros platos (judÃas verdes con exceso de agua, macarrones recocidos,...).

Fuimos a cenar y tardaron muchiiiiisimo en servirnos una pizza (1:30).El local ruidoso, sucio, lleno de humo.La gente se iba aburridos de esperar.Nos quedamos por culpa o gracias a mi hijo, que tenia antojo de pizza.
