Très facile à trouver quand on vient de la visite du site de Ségeste, il s'agit d'un petit bar sur la place principale de la petite ville. Sans prétention mais de bon aloi, on y trouve tout ce qu'il faut pour un repas savoureux ( des pasta, des salades, des glaces et des gâteaux en plus de toutes sortes de sandwiches ) Bref, uns sorte de fast-food bien local.

We had the chance to try this place but it was disappointing because pizza that was advertised with âfior di latteâ mozzarella instead was used some untestable different bad cheese. They served 2 times a wrong pizza and didnât apologise about their mistakes! We all left all pizzas without could eat! Terrible experience!

My husband and I were visiting this part of Sicily and were recommended to have dinner at La Manna Ristorante, which is about 2km from the B&B La Suite di Segesta, and the Greek and Roman archeological sites in Segesta. What a wonderful discovery. Stunning location looking out from the wide terrace to the beauty of the Sicilian hills as the sun was setting.Nino, the waiter, made us feel extremely welcome. How this works, is that there is no menu or wine list. So after a discussion of what specials the restaurant has to offer that evening, platters of typical rustic Sicilian antipasto on carved wooden boards, home made pasta, desert and local wines are brought out. Absolutely delicious. These were followed by coffee, Sicilan home made biscuits and limoncello. Everything was so tasty, beautifully served, with personal attention to detail. A veritable feast for the gods! Please note, however, the restaurant does take credit cards, cash only.It is too far away for us to make this restaurant "our local", but we highly recommend it to locals and other visitors to this area of Sicily.

This is an off the beaten path quaint restaurant near the ruins of Segesta. Don't be deterred by the drive through the fields to get here Food is fresh and well prepared. Warm and welcoming staff. One disappointment was the pizza oven was not turned on that day, even though they advertised "Pizza for lunch" Would not have tried it if we had not received a flyer for it in the parking lot of the ruins. One other small negative, they were playing loud rock music which didn't quite fit the venue...

My husband chose this location for lunch as the promise of good pizza was across the tripadvisor pages. Alas Pizza is only served in the evening. We went upstairs and were the only people there this blustery November day. I ordered the tourist menu for Euro12 and he ordered al a carte. They have english menus. Both primis we were tasty but too much. The secondi's were average, nothing special, tasty, but certainly not 5 star. We left full. We also noticed everyone, locals it seemed, downstairs all eating paninis. They seemed happy enough, maybe for lunch a panini would have been a better option. Maybe the pizzas are great, we will never know.

At the suggestion if our Suites di Segesta B&B, we had dinner here. We decided on pizze-I had Quatro Formaggi and my daughter had Il Tempio. Both were delicious and the happily boxed up our leftovers. It is a large place, but we dined about 8 and it seemed empty. The service was very friendly. Our pizze and a 1/4 liter of wine was the perfect amount and it came to 22 euro but because our hotel recommended, they discounted us 2 euro which was very nice. If you are visiting the Temple, this is a nearby option for meals.

A gem well worth driving to. Excellent Sicilian specialties not found every day in other places. Enjoyed,among other delights, a feather light pasta and spinach roulade in a light cream sauce and a rich stew of fork-tender boar bathed in a rich Nero dâAvola sauce. Good house wines, too plus Great service. A great Agriturismo.

A thorough culinary Sicilian experience based on ancient tradition with a modern twist. The chef is a master of creativity without forgetting the invaluable teachings of his grandma, the eponymous "Nonna Ciccia". Plentiful portions served by the kind waitress (the chef's wife?) in true Sicilian style. The essential décor contributes to concentrating the whole attention on the food and drink - excellent wines from the region. Very reasonably priced given the quality.

Follow the signs along the track. Don't give up and turn around whatever you do.Food is excellent, and very reasonably priced. The family who run the restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. Everything is homemade including the pasta. Definitely worth the effort to visit.

Being welcomed with warmth, friendliness and professionalism is one good, when not essential, thing when dining out. The word restaurant literally means "a place where to restore", hence the first element is there and Francesco knows how to treat his customers! However, the real BOOM BANG experience is their food! Simply excellent on all fronts! The fish is super fresh, caught and brought daily from local fishermen. The freshness is something that you see with your eyes and experience in your mouth, at each bite, without failing ever your senses! We ate an antipasto of sea cruditè with red and white prawns (so fresh that only the very skin of the head was left, without the inside is understood!), tuna and sword fish tart-tar, one oyster (I leave it to your imagination to gather how fresh the oyster was), and marinated salmon. Then their stable and revisited pasta con le sarde with busiate and turmeric flavoured breadcrumbs was to die for! and obviously, because you judge a restaurant from their most simple dish, I decided to go for spaghetti alle vongole, and here I was totally utterly entirely thrilled! This is a must go, whether if you happen to be near by or if you have to fly from New York to go there!!!!! Highly recommended!
