A hot Saturday evening in probably the best location Sirmione, Lake Garda and this place is heaving with people prepared to line up and wait for a table as were the 4 of us but waiting is no chore as people watching fills the perfectly.Within 15 minutes we were seated and after ordering drinks began to explore the menu which is rich in variety. We shared starters of two salads, one Nicoise and the other Tri-colore both presented beautifully with the freshest of ingredients and bursting with flavour. Most mains consisted of Pasta but I chose the Mixed Fried Fish which was fabulous but coming Fries proved to be a bit more than I could handle but with friends to share this was no problem.The House White Wine is terrific with a little fizz that makes it quite special as was the service by 2 brothers who were as synchronised as robots, amazing meal and a great night out. The bill came to a not unreasonable Euro 100 with tip.

great grilled meats. great location with great views. nice bbq for the meat. cool to see the process for carving the meat when t comes off the grill too. owners very nice, and seem to pride in their quality of the meat and the grilling and carving process. we enjoyed.

You walk in (better reserve your table to be sure...), you get nicely seated, your "aperitivo" gets served immediately. By the menu you choose your meal courses and wines, and the antipasto will be a taste of some of the courses you did not order (so you might want to order it next time...). The food is great, they definitely like good cooking. With the dessert you get a glass of Recioto (local precious sweet wine) which is wonderful, and some grappa with your coffee if you like.I remember one evening walking in this restaurant depressed and tired after a bad day at work, well the food, wine and atmosphere of this place did set me at peace with the world again...The owner might look a little "peculiar" but for sure he likes good food and to serve it to his customers!!!!!!!Looking forward to return!!!!

My wife and I visit Bussolengo, Italy every summer to see our friends. We had another outstanding dinning experience at the Fucina Restaurant. We really enjoy the excellent menu choices, service and atmosphere. The owners are always present and very friendly.

Situated high above Pastrengo, this fort of a restaurant overlooks Lake Garda and wine country. The inside is stunning brick with the design coordinating off little rooms with the hall. This is a large restaurant, apt for parties or just a few people. Busy place. We had the menu di Terre. Very good, especially the raw beef. Wine menu was a bit limited. Plenty of easy parking, follow signs to restaurant when heading to Pastrengo.

Nice food, pizza, pasta, rice, but also meat and fish. Big portions. It's more for business-lunch or -dinner. The quality, taste and amout of food is really good. Also nice wine-list. Parking in front. Recommendable, absolutely.

The restaurant surroundings are not that great (in the middle of a residential area). The food and the service were perfect. Excellent food, great service, outdoor and indoor seating. great wine list! We ate there twice and it was all very good. The building in which it is situated is very interesting, part of the complex of the Villa owned by the Quaranta family. Probably this is a family-oriented restaurant, and this explains why there were so many kids screaming and running around like maniacs. I am not against children if they are well-mannered, but when it is too much it becomes annoying for the other guests trying to have dinner and trying to exchange a normal conversation. Food was overall good, a bit over-priced, but what ruined everything was the atmosphere. Not to try if you see kids running around...
