We had a family dinner on a busy hot Saturday night. Sat on the footpath outside. There was a pretty good vibe.If people came and there was no table available they could go to the wine bar opposite and have their dinner served there. This increased the numbers and added to the good atmosphere in that section f the street. The food was all tasty and some dishes quite creative. Service friendly. We will return.

We are regulars and appreciate a slight change in decor ,more funky and more inviting for slightly younger audience who with the new menu will love grazing on lots of small dishes at the bar. Our favourites of tarama, moussaka ,fish and salads are still there and yummy as usual.

A busy night, we waited 10/15 minutes for a menu, another 5/10 for drinks order then another 5/10 to receive our drinks. Approximately 15 minutes later the waitress approached our table asking if we wanted to order food, I replied we did 25/30minutes ago.The food was oysters entree and bruschetta, bruschetta dry, bread soggy, oysters ok but tiny.Mains pasta too oily, Milanese vitello, an old favourite, it was dreadful, one tiramisu which was dry and accompanied by a roughish scoop of supermarket ice cream, 2 stars might be too many

Fabulous wait staff, Peter, helpful and friendly without taking over, especially since it took us about half an hour to make up our minds. Ordered drinks speedily delivered and after ordering meals were soon delivered hot and tasty. My beef rage was had lots of meat and a generous serving. Dessert was also nice ; the restaurant is ideal for a cheap and cheerful meal.

Good food is shared food. The best seafood in town. Kitchen open 12pm - 10pm every day. Our side bar has live music daily and is open until 1am.
One of the best seafood lunches (meals) we've ever had. Not only was the food fantastic and the decor fabulous, but our waitress was charming as well and we were so pleased we'd ventured inside. Actually the exterior of the restaurant was the first draw card! If we'd been staying in Melbourne longer, we would have ventured back, especially to enjoy a 'gig'. We shall definitely return when we venture south again. Many thanks to all :).

My husband, my son and I had dinner on a recent Sunday evening in the Garden Room at the back of this restaurant. We had a selection of tapas which were beautifully presented and delicious and then we each had a main and we were all delighted with out choices. The meals were beautifully presented and delicious and the service was really excellent with a very friendly and helpful waiter. From the street, the restaurant is deceiving as one has no idea of the lovely atmosphere in the Garden Room at the rear of the restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
