Consistently good and same food no mater what location you visit. Always get the vegetarian plate so I can taste many items!

Fluffy fresh veggie omelette with crispy hash browns & rye toast. I had a side of garlic spread for the omelette which knocked it out of the park!

It deserves 3.5 stars but not 4...and I will return, I think I ordered the wrong dish. I ordered the Sumac Chicken. Let me be very candid, I am a stickler for moist, juicy chicken...the size of the portion was more than enough for a big eater, the seasonings were great but needed just a little salt. I asked the waitress...whom BTW was very attentive, sweet and helpful...I asked her to sub the fries/rice for a house salad...I REALLY enjoyed the salad with the house dressing. It was fresh, refreshing, crisp and perfectly seasoned and dressed. Next time I'll go with my gut and order the Lamb Shank.
Marti's just opened recently in the space vacated by the Cork and Cleaver. Their cuisine is billed as American and Lebanese. There are dishes to suit both tastes. Portions are good to share and sample a variety of dishes, particularly if you want to enjoy cocktails and munchies with friends. I was there for dinner, and the portions were more than adequate for me. I had their chicken shish tawouk skewers and Naan bread. The chicken (breast meat) was nicely flavored and the sauce was delicious. The vegetables on the skewer were perfectly cooked. My dinner companion ordered cauliflower au gratin and the Gyro Naan. The sauce on the au gratin earned high praise and the Gyro was flavorful with a zesty tzaziki sauce. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. Marti's granddaughter was behind the bar, and we had a lovely conversation about the restaurant and the menu, many dishes based on Marti's family recipes. Marti is no longer with us, but her granddaughter and son are planning on bringing more family recipes to the menu. Options ranged from chicken fingers (for younger diners), chicken wings, and fries both plain and fancy with carmelized onion and goat cheese. We enjoyed our visit and with the menu prices, we will return more than once to try other dishes on the menu. There is a full service bar and a nicely priced wine list.
