Aleppo is one of the oldest cities in the Middle east. Aleppo is famous of its delicious dishes and different varieties of food. Aleppo Restaurant in Bradford is Syrian and Lebanese cuisine. Proud off its Shawrma, Falafel, Pastry, Homos, Tabolah. We hop
From outside, you cannot tell this Syrian place is a hidden gem next to Bradford College. To my surprise, it was so cosy inside and a beautiful atmosphere for intimate dining with dimmed lighting and pretty Arabesque mosaic lamps. At the time of booking/reserving a table, the lady was very accommodating and friendly. She asked if we had any specific preferences and if we required any meals warm and ready on arrival - I was truly amazed at her care and consideration. Their menu is simple and fuss-free however we wanted to try some off-the-menu items such as their stone baked pizzas and falafel on its own. Once again they were more than happy to do so. There is a language barrier as English is not their first language but this is what makes this lovely eatery so authentic and cultural - it really felt like I was abroad! As they were short-staffed, it did take a long time for food to arrive but we didn't mind as it gave us a chance to soak up our surroundings and catch up with friends. We also ended up over ordering as based on their prices we assumed the portion sizes would be tiny but we were so wrong - portions were massive so all of us struggled to finish our food. On top of that the chef very generously gave us complimentary Manaeesh and Muhammara which tasted divine. We thought the restaurant closes at midnight but they actually close at 9pm (oops) yet the sweet staff were so hospitable. They did not rush us nor interrupt us to say it was time to close. On top of that they gave us complimentary tea and kindly packed all our food up very securely to take home and enjoy it the next day. The bill only came up to £36.00 plus 50p for eating in for 5 of us which we thought was extremely value-for-money and so cheap with lots of delicious food leftover and taken home. (",) I just wanted to say thank you to the team at Aleppo for making our dining experience very special right from start to end. I cannot wait to visit this place again.

my boyfriend and I visited a few months ago so sorry for not having done the review before. We went one Friday night having not been for about 10 years! wow we will not leave it that long again - what a fantastic meal. Very friendly staff, I have forgotten the girls name who served us but am pretty sure she was expecting - she was very friendly and chatty with us. The food was gorgeous. We will be back!

My wife and I visited Emilyâs and we were both blown away by the lovely meal, my wife chose the Yorkshire Italian Rarebit which she said was delicious. I chose the Calamari Fritta which was equally delicious. Both plates were a good helping size and both went back empty. The service was both friendly and helpful and knowledgeable as regards the Bronte connection. We will return, next time probably for afternoon tea/coffee and cake.
