Traditional Italian bistrot, close to Racconigi Castle. The restaurant was totally renewed in 2015.
This small restaurant (about 40 places), located at less than 100 m from the Racconigi Castle, is a modern structure, with some food innovations and contaminations grafted on a solid cuisine tradition. It proposes a seasonal menu or, in alternative, a short selection of dishes. The menu includes two starters (warm and cold), a pasta dish, a meat dish and a traditional dessert (or fruits). The ingredients are fresh, the seasoning light, the quantity correct. With a good bottle of Barbera and the cafè, the price was of 33 Euros per person. Booking preferrable, expecially on Sundays.

Local well- furnished and cozy in the heart of Bra , the capital of Roero , where you can ' dine . The kitchen and ' Italian , but mostly Piemontese and uses only fresh ingredients , seasonal and preferably at km 0. A good wine list accompany' the pleasan
We were there during August, the city was quite empty, and we found this restaurant that looked nice. We arrived few minutes after its opening (for dinner). The host was very nice , spoke good english and was really kind to us. We ordered several beers and she brought us some delicious focaccia that just came out of the oven! (thank you!).We also had some pizza, which was very good as well!We will definitely come back, if we go back to Bra!Mille grazie dal ''Centrostorico''!!!See you in Bra!

Bra is beautiful. So calm in august when most of shops is closed and roads are empty because everybody are on holidays. We chose this place bcs we love neapolitan style pizza and we were really delighted with the taste.Very warm and attentive service. We were very early so place was rather empty when we came but almost full when we were going out. So staff was busy but efficient. I only didn't like the moment when owner or manager (not sure) yelled at one of waiters that the table is not clean yet (I guess). We really didn't have to hear it especially that this guy was really nice and helpful for us even he didn't know english.Hello Ania, thanks for your kind words. Italians speak louder than it usually takes, we are sorry it bothered you. We hope you'll be able to visit Bra and enjoy our pizza again!

My wife and I had an amazing experience here. We came in with a reservation and were greeted like they had been expecting old friends. The owner and his wife run this place. The service was fantastic!!We weren't really sure what to order and we had spent all day drinking wines, so we were kind of beat. We ended up thrusting ourselves into their trusty hands. We ended up basically getting a wine pairing menu for the evening. It was amazing. It literally became a wild ride of delicious. If we had stayed longer, we probably would have been back every night. Please, please, please go here! You'll love it.

As a group of 23 Scots we take some looking after and the owners did a great job. Food was exceptional and wine even better. Our wine was a Barbera D'Alba from Casa Vinicola Bruno Giacosa, one of if not the best we have tasted on our trip. We only new of this restaurant because one of the party was a cousin of the owners, a real gem to be found for those who make the effort. We met the chef at the end of the meal, what a lovely guy and the owners did all they could to make our afternoon special. If we ever come back to this area, we will make an effort to return. Many thanks Angelo for making this happen.

This is an average and charming osteria in Bra city centre. All the 'Primi Piatti' of pasta were ok but did not totally satisfy me; the raw 'Salsiccia di Bra' was tasty and plenty; vegetable side dish wasn't plenty at all but the GREAT FINAL DESSERT WAS AMAZING really delicious Pannacotta (I really reccomend) !!!In the end I would say that quality and taste could be improved, a little bit more salt in the pasta would have convinced me for a 4/5 score!

Love the ambience and has a nice outdoor patio to sit and get a drink or bite to eat. We had spanish dishes on their wednesday night special. I was very impressed with the appetizer platter but less with the fish paella. Good portions in any case. The wine list was small and the prices seemed a little high for us but maybe it was just because of the special theme night. Overall we were happy with this different option in Bra and in such a cute place. Will be interested to try from their usual menu!

Superb local cuisine served in an elegant yet rustic location. We had a food and wine pairing meal that was extraordinary. Risotto with sugo di arrosto to was heaven.Busy with local clientele and that speaks volumes. Worth every penny.

We were not overwhelmed by the ambience or service. The food was good - the usual local specialties - and the wine list decent value, but something was lacking. The décor is quite austere and the welcome could have been warmer. This may be a better place for a larger party which makes its own atmosphere.Good evening dear Callimachus, we are sorry that you have found a cold environment but we are glad that you enjoyed the food. We hope to see you again.
