Reviews on Mediterranean food in Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom. Bournemouth’s seven miles of beach and exceptionally warm microclimate make it a favorite of U.K. travelers. There’s something for everyone here, whether you’re a watersports fanatic (try surfing lessons!) or just want to let your kids splash around in the calm waters. For a traditional Bournemouth vacation, rent a classic beach hut.

Friendly informal Italian Restaurant
We visited Valentinoâs for dinner on Saturday night. The atmosphere was lovely, people were queuing outside to get in because there were no tables left. It was very popular. The food was beautiful and the service was fantastic. Giuseppe the owner was very entertaining and hospitable and Thomas his grandson was very professional and helpful. I would definitely return if in Bournemouth again and absolutely recommend this restaurant to anybody that likes Italian food. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Sourdough pizza bar serving woodfired pizza, beers and wine Nuff said....xx
Forno makes totally authentic and delicious pizza and we go regularly. We lived in Italy for 5 years so we are very fussy and this is the real deal. The prices and service are excellent too. Highly recommended and so much better than the overpriced chains around with little authenticity.

A little taste of Italy...in Bournemouth. Our Stonebaked pizzas & homemade dishes are 100% made by Italians. Our Italian Chef and Pizzaiolo hope to make your experience as authentically Italian as possible. "Just like my Mamma used to make".
Leo and Ursula clearly love what they do and really looked after us when we dined here twice on our four day visit to Bournemouth. The pasta Arrabiata, pizzas and king prawns were just delicious. They were great with the kids and made sure we had two fab evenings. We will be back.

Simply love this wonderful family run Italian restaurant. It is run fabulously by Olga & her talented chef and staff. The atmosphere is warm & friendly and we are always greeted as if we are their best customers (& Iâm sure they have many customers that are more frequent customers than us !!!!)Our last visit was Easter Sunday & all our dishes were prefect. Obviously we will be back !!!!

Called in with my older sister for a spot of lunch and was most pleasantly surprised. Staff were extremely hospitable and friendly and the food (which arrived promptly) was delicious too. I had the Liver and Bacon and my sister had the Moussaka. Turns out my sister eats in there frequently on her own - and I can understand why.

Was in the area for the night and came here for breakfast. Staff were friendly. Had a really nice breakfast, service was quick and not too expensive either. Maybe should include a hot drink with breakfasts though? But overall nice place to eat. Would return if in the area again.

We waited over 1 hour for our meals. While we waited the waiter gave us 8 a small bowl of bread after 10 minutes he plonked on the table some condiments. There was no apology or acknowledgment from any staff for the delay of food. The waiter mostly ignored us most of the time. He seemed very arrogant and too uppity. He also looked out of his depth. He has no hospitality training anyone could tell. We had to pay service charge on top of the food bill. The service we received was appalling. I would not recommend this place to anyone ever. We saw other people come and wait for ages without anyone welcoming them and they left. The one star I'll give only for food. If there was a minus I will give them minus -100!

Brand new wood fired Italian kitchen. We are now officially open!!! Come and enjoy the tastes of Italy in Bournemouth
What can I say. We booked here after considering almost every Italian in Bournemouth, and in the end went by the apparent authenticity of the menu choices. I'm glad we did. The food is truly excellent. Generous portion sizes, great taste, authentic Italian cuisine. Add to that a buzzy atmosphere and genuine, attentive staff, and this place really should be fully booked weeks in advance. We will be dining here every time we're in Bournemouth. If you are, then don't think about it, just book a table and try it. You won't regret it.
