Bravi!!

Located at the Presolana mountain pass (Bergamo), amazing landscape, great regional tradition food in a warm very friendly place. Bikers and tourists can enjoy a top quality food by stopping at Cesira (reservation during weekends). The owners have been in the business for long and continue to offer same top standards of meals by using the best raw materials ever and love. The dining room is something amazing with big fireplace and open space kitchen, also big windows allows a full view of the mountains around. Food is well prepared by Dario Soldo and his team and anything on menu is worth tasting. From traditional Casoncelli to homemade pasta with porcini mushrooms. Fresh fish (Bergamo nearby is a big hub for fresh fish mkt) and great cut of meat coming form Piedmont are a must as a main course. Desserts are home made, my best choice is cheese cake. Wine and spirits list is well assorted, with super names too. Price is what you pay...value what you get. And you surely get it!

The food was delicious. We went there three days in a row with the goal to try different stuff from their menu. The restaurant is open late (which also played a role in our decision, at least on the first day). The wine list is relatively small but is assembled with a good taste. We didn't try their desserts (and they didn't have crème brûlée when I've asked for it), but it's definitely one of the places to remember.

Wait staff, nice menu, good service, but...For primi, after consulting my Italian hosts I ordered Taglioni with beef (manzo) ragu and what I got was a nice pasta and ragu with tomato. A beef ragu doesn't need tomato! How can you feel the beef? As I mentioned the restaurant has a wait staff and my Taglioni was replaced within a few min by a Tortiglioni, that was really good.I was not lucky with the secondi. I like faraona (guinea fowl) and it should have been with truffes. Could be a good combination, but unfortunately there were no truffles. Not only that I couldn't see the smallest piece it did not even smell with truffles. Yes, and there were more bones and skins than meet... Maybe next time... the potential is there

A quite elegant little restaurant with sophisticated dishes, combining local tradition with modern style in the room fitting and menu.We liked tagliata steak and gnocchi dumplings with Bagoss cheese and hazelnuts, and horse hashed steak - raw. Music is a bit too loud and techno, lights a bit too dim for my taste: the hashed steak looked brown, if it felt great in my mouth.Reasonable prices with low surcharges on drinks

Complimenti vivissimi.
