We stopped here for lunch during a day in Bonifacio. Its a very simple place but they do things so well. The menu and the way things are priced is different and cool, the service was friendly and speedy and the moules and frites were just delicious. I guess if you only really focus on one thing, you are going to get very good at it and these guys have done just that. Well worth he top ratings from many TA users.Thank you very much, we are glad you really appreciate our concept! We Wish you to have à nice stay in corsica !!

We stayed here at the hotel. This is a very special restaurant. A young and talented chef. He has his own garden (our room looked out over it). Sources local ingredients for very flavourful food. I had the "white risotto" one night- amazing- topped with shaved chestnuts.Breakfast is also delicious, many choices, fresh. This was by far our best food on Corsica

Gatronomic restaurant proposing from fresh products in short circuits and a garden in permaculture, a gourmet Menu dedicated to the pleasure of epicureans. The specialty of the house is the Royal lobster from Bonifacio flambé with whiskey.
My wife and I chose this restaurant based on TA ratings and its proximity to our hotel in upper Bonifacio. It exceeded our expectations. We each ordered 2 first courses - fish carpccio and then foie gras. They were delicious and so artfully presented! We enjoyed a crisp Corsican white wine. Service was friendly and professional. It was a fantastic lunch. Very highly recommended.

Decided to eat here and was greeted by the owner and shown to a a table, he eventually came back with the menu board accross the street and proceded to go full flow into his presentatin, we stopped him and asked if he spoke any English to be told NO, (he was happy to speak Italian to another couple) so we pressed on with our limited French and ordered. We asked for a glass of House Rose, but he said only half litre bottles available, we said OK and the food and wine arrived. The wine was a named bottle of local wine not a House wine as we requested, but this was all he had. The food was starter was OK, but one main of Chicken Risotto was dry and bland, we ordered the desserts of Chocolate Fondant and this arrived in about two minutes, microwaved and dry. We asked for the bill and when it came the wine we had been given was 23 euros for half a litre, no wonder he didnt serve house wine!!

In my grandfather's former lemonade workshop, our restaurant will introduce you to our Bonifacio family cooking. You will be offered a reduced and controlled menu to make you appreciate our cuisine in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. See you soon for a
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant last night. Highly recommended. We originally went to another place around the corner from Le Bastion, originally and were treated very poorly. We ended up leaving and getting seated at Le Bastion on the spot - even with 9 people. They were so accommodating, and the food was fantastic! Best dish was Mama's Eggplant and you have to try Papa's Cake. Thank you for a wonderful, kind, and authentic dinner!

Corsican sea food.
We found this place just by the occasion. Did not plan to go there as we had very limited time. Ordered small fishes plates for 9 Euro and got our meals literally in few minutes. Everything was so fresh - like just a moment out from the sea. Absolutely delicious. Food prepared impeccably. The taste, aroma and serving - just wonderful. We wish greatest possible success to this place in spite of the fact restaurant is really small - just few tables to seat in.ÐлаÑÑное недоÑогое меÑÑеÑко ÐºÐ°ÐºÐ¸Ñ Ð¼Ð°Ð»Ð¾. ÐÐÐÑÐµÐ½Ñ ÑекомендÑÑ! After reading previous reviews I had this place in mind for lunch and it didnât disappoint. The menu is limited but what is there is done authentically. We had the veal with tagliatelle and prawn with tagliatelle and both were full of flavour. The waiter hardly spoke english but that added to the atmosphere as we muddled through with our pigeon french and Italian. It is small, only 18 covers but if you get the chance its worth a visit as most people seem to pass it by as its tucked away.

Regional cooking house made pasta and regional dish speciality
We usually do not go for the fixed price menu as the quality is never very good but we made an exception here as the courses we wanted were included in it. We had the Menu du Berger and we were not disappointed. The food was good (aubergines à la Bonifacienne, sanglier, gnocchi de l'Alta Rocca, Parfait à la châtaigne and Panacotta), the service was efficient and the waiter had good advice.
