Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Bangkok. Thailand's fast-growing capital is a city of contrasts. Feast on amazing Thai food in shabby markets for lunch and sip on cocktails in a glitzy rooftop bar several hours later. Marvel at the buzzing alleys and temples of Chinatown and Banglamphu, then take a tuk tuk to Siam, where luxurious shopping malls await. It's these contradictions that make this vibrant city a magnet for tourists from all over the world, each of them promising themselves to come back again and again.

Our first time visiting Anantara Siam Bangkok and on our first night here we wanted to try either Madison or Biscotti restaurant. We settled for Biscotti and did not regret it for a minute once we stepped inside and were warmly welcomed by Alex (the manager, we believe). We ordered the Lobster Risotto with Italian truffle and a Burrata pizza. Both were incredibly delicious! The highlight of the evening was Alex preparing a tableside Tiramisu for us, which we were told they normally only would do when you ordered the bigger 2-person sharing Tiramisu. It was a wonderful experience. We were greeted by a lot of different servers during our evening and every single one of them we so professional yet informal, funny and so kind at the same time! We will return to the hotel in 12 days and will definitely give the restaurant a revisit! Dear ThailandTravellers,Thank you very much for this amazing review, that makes me and the whole team proud.Everybody remember you and be assured that for your next visit you will be very welcome by me and each of your team.Wishing you a memorable holiday, we look forward to take care of you again.Best greetingsAlessandro CamporesiBiscotti Manager

I have had the pleasure of dining at Calderazzo twice in the last month. Superb. Antonio guided us personally through the menu and matched our choice with an excellent wine. So good, we had to go for the second bottle. A limited (not a bad sign) but interesting menu, a very pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and both the owner and the chef taking a personal interest in ensuring we enjoyed our visit. A bit of an off-Broadway location - round the back of Sukhumvit 31 - but absolutely worth the effort. Not open for lunch weekdays, but a definite spot for a decent Sunday lunch.Dear Vincent ,Thank you for reviewing. We pride ourselves on the personal touch. Please note we are open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We hope too serve you again Ciao Chef Marco
