A little bit off the beaten path, we found the dinner prices at Artemis to be an excellent value. We sat outdoors under an umbrella with a nice view of the surrounding area. The fillet of sole came with fries, tomato rice, and tzatziki (Greek sauce made of yogurt, garlic, & cucumbers) and I added a bowl of bean soup. All was good. We also tried the escalope of pork with fries, also good. The service was good until it came time to pay the bill. We asked for it twice with no immediate response. I got out my credit card and placed it on the table to show we were waiting for the bill. Finally after about 20 minutes the waitress comes with the bill and tells me she can't accept the credit card. That's okay, I understand, maybe that is their policy, or maybe the check amount was not enough to allow them to process the card. I paid with cash, but having to wait so long to pay kind of spoiled our experience at Artemis.

What a lovely atmosphere this restaurant has. It is very warm and welcoming with the various things the owners have collected and decorated the place with giving it a wonderful feel. Especially the glass lamps and shades. I had a mixed seafood pizza which unfortunately was not very interesting as the seafood had no real taste. My friends had calzone and pasta and both really enjoyed theirs. I would definitely go back. It was a great place to visit on a cold wintery evening.

Food, and good service. The veal was perfect, and all the pasta dishes are spot on. The 4 cheese pizza is done in a perfect Italian (and very possibly a New York) style. Drinks are on the small side but the wine selection is pretty good. After eating Herman food for a few days this is a great change. A++ food/ service/ // but the ambiance was a little lacking. It was becoming warm and the staff opened the windows for a breeze...no screen and we were attacked by literally dozens of flies..Im glad we were just about finished otherwise it would have been a big problem..Food was awesome...

My wife and I wanted a light dinner and ordered tagliat al finerli and insalata casa. We enjoyed both of the meals very much. We sat outside enjoying the evening and the service was very good. Unfortunately, about three hours later, we both were experiencing an upset stomach and sickness. A great meal that went bad.

Stayed in town here and walked to the restaurant. Presentation of food looked wonderful. We had the ox and pork shoulder dinners. Vegetables in mine were undercooked but not enough to make a big deal out of it. When we were presented with our bill, the waitress announced that this was the amount owed and it DID NOT INCLUDE THE TIP. We've done plenty of travel through out Europe not to mention I am aware of the what the protocols are for tipping. There was a German family sitting across from us and I can bet she didn't tell them that the tip was not included. Sorry my dear you have a lot to learn in life. This is a restaurant I woukd NEVER go back to.

Echo Bilocca80 comments of 6 January 2017. Painfully slow service as staff too busy filling out take-away orders and fawning over favourite customers. If you are daft enough to want to eat here, steer clear of the Zander (local fish) âSpecialâ as anything but; bread coated to bulk up a minuscule, dry, tasteless fillet. 13â pizzas okay but youâd be hard pushed to ruin one of them. If you want a proper meal, go to the Guggenberg Alm for excellent wholesome Bavarian fare.
