Restaurant And Gastro Bar Serving Beer And Wine On Draft. We Offer Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner And A Selection Of Homemade Salads And Meats.
I was recommended this place by a work colleague and went for lunch. My friend and I were not disappointed. There was a good selection on the menu and there were some good specials as well. We both plumped for the burgers. The food was cooked fresh to order. We couldn't believe the size of the food portions. They were huge but really tasty. We loved the chips. They were so tastyI can heartly recommend this place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping village as a little haven of calm

On a drive from Dublin to Limerick we became hungry so a quick google search popped up with this âgastropubâ! On arrival we felt slightly out of place in our travelling clothes but despite there being no table in the restaurant we were ushered through to the bar and settled ourselves in the window. After being given both the Sunday lunch and bar menu we opted for the bar menu, one burger, ham and black pudding croquettes and a charcuterie board later and we were both extremely happy. The chips were excellent as was the rest of the meal. Will hopefully return again on another trip with a reservation for the main restaurant, this place well deserves its mention in the Michelin guide

The restaurant is amazing considering the location just beside our famous Emo court. The food was good and the place is clean and spotless. I felt the service could have been better as the waitress clearly was not smiling at us but very nice to the other people.

Las Rada Wine & Tapas bar is a small, cosy bar that serves tasty tapas to share with your family and friends.
Visited on an early Saturday evening. Lots of plaques on the entrance indicating good food. Quite cramped seating and very loud customers - the sound just echoes around the hard surfaces. The menu was rather limited and not what I would class as Tapas. The red sangria was tasteless and mainly ice at â¬10 for a half carafe. The food was tasty but portions varied a lot between different dishes and it was difficult to guess what one would get unless one had a view of dishes being served to another table. I had the shallowest creme brûlée I have ever seen!Service was very slow but it was a busy time. Three of my friends agreed that we still all felt hungry on leaving despite having three or four dishes each, so not a place for hungry lads! The restaurant is obviously popular and a place to pass time with friends. If in a hurry, probably not the place to dine.

Carlow's newest and exciting social venue, for great food and wine served in an uncomplicated and casual setting.
Normally I like Pimentos they do well, but this last visit the Paella did not taste fresh, it was watery and as if if previously frozen. Too much condiments and I got food poisoning for 2 days right after my meal ! It was a rough weekend dealing with that. Their quality has def gone down since the last time i went

The menu is eclectic- a mix of Spanish tapas, Moroccan and Irish bites. Some better than others: fish tacos good, slow cooked pork not slow cooked (over cooked and hard), seafood paella (ok, with a good kick and quite turmeric-y), gnocchi (bland) and churros (light with a nice dulce sauce). This place gets pretty busy in the evening, so show up early (5pm opening) to guarantee a seat. Drinks are good, sangria a tad sweet. Service friendly.
