Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Anacapri. Anacapri is a comune on the island of Capri, in the Metropolitan City of Naples, Italy. The Ancient Greek prefix ana- means "up" or "above", signifying that Anacapri is located at a higher elevation on the island than Capri (about 150 m higher on average). Administratively, it has a separate status from the city of Capri. The most significant site in the village is the Villa San Michele.

Call ahead for a shuttle ride to Da Gelsomina and get squeezed into a tiny van with other patrons, then take a high speed ride through the narrow wall-lined streets outside the city center of Anacapri. You will arrive in a hotel/restaurant complex that serves unremarkable food at modest prices. A large restaurant with a covered dining area and no views after sunset. I didn't even bother taking notes about the meal or taking photos: it was that forgettable. After you eat, get squeezed into another tiny van with a different group of strangers and back to your pickup point. Our least favorite meal in Capri.

During our daytravel in Capri, we decided to stay in Anacapri, After an hard day. Some local people's suggested us this place to spent our dinner. The restaurant has a very wonderful view. We arrived too late, but I think that it is also a good place to see a good sunset. Food is very good, we ordered ravioli B+ fried calamari&shrimp A and a Zuppa di cozze, It was very good, I had to put the bred into the soup AA. They was very fast and the staff was very â¤ï¸. Price B+, cover charge 4 euro each, but we have to consider that capri Is expansive.

We have been here for a wedding celebration and I must say: BRAVO! From arriving to departing many hours later everything was delightful. The staff, the organization, the buffet, the dinner, the decoration, the fireworks, the night swimming, and the wedding cake. All top and everyone was happy.

Dining on this terrace is an experience you'll remember for as long as you live Suspended between the sea and sky, a terrace, a table for two and a view of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius and the Sorrentine Peninsula you'll never forget. Welcome to La T
We had dinner here while staying at the hotel and it was amazing. There are views from every table and the food is impeccable, as well as the service. My husband had the fish and I had the pasta. Both were wonderful and we would definitely recommend!

We were trying to get away from all the terrible tourist food in the square for a good meal, and we certainly found in here! The views from this beach club are incredible, and the waves crashing are a lovely soundtrack for the meal. The food and service were outstanding, I wish we had had time to return for another meal!

You can realize your dreams of dining beneath lemon trees at this restaurant in Anacapri. You will find a beautiful environment, a helpful waitstaff and some good food here on one of the pedestrian streets. Our first course of gnocchi with guanciale and zucchini flowers was good and the cured pork cheek added an meaty taste. My plate of roast rabbit breast is a dish nearly impossible to find in America. The meat was rolled in herbs and served with roast potatoes and the ubiquitous sauteed zucchini. Tender and delicious but topped with the driest and most tasteless slices of truffle that I've ever encountered. My sweetheart needed a break from seafood and ordered a tender beefsteak cooked perfectly medium rare and also served with sauteed zucchini. You will find an extensive wine list here. A nice bottle of rosso di montalcino was fine a medium bodied compliment to the meal.

Wonderful service from the owner. We went to order an appetizer with 2 courses and he told us it would be too much to eat...and he was right. Not only was he honest, but the food was excellent. Would definitely come back. TRY THE POLPETE (MEATBALLS)!

Unfriendly manager .. spiteful . She just would not allow us to sit on free tables . Made excuse that they are reserved. NO-ONE CAME ALL THE TIME WE WERE THERE . The so called manager made us sit Away from window . As we were tired and hungry we just sat upstairs . unfriendly managerBut it's ridiculous !!!we had a table booked for a guest. This writer arrived without a reservation and threatened us that if we had not given him that table booked, he would have written a review on Tripadvisor.Of course we kicked him out and told him to never come back and he could also write the bible on trip advisor the table was already booked!!!!!

Villa Jovis was the large villa where the Emperor Tiberius spent his stay in Capri. In this majestic imperial residence that is designed today the restaurant Villa Jovis, a place where you can sample the finest Mediterranean cuisine surrounded by arches,
My expectations were pretty high after reading all these amazing reviews, but unfortunately the place didnât quite meet them. The view was very nice, but the food was average at best and wine wasnât my favourite either. The male waiters were very friendly and welcoming, but the girl who served us didnât smile even once and spoke only the stuff she absolutely must say, nothing else at all (note: we are Finns so we donât mind the lack of small talk, but this was next level quietness). We ate tiramisu for dessert and that was excellent though. The place wasnât crazy expensive either, which was nice. The atmosphere was a little bit ruined by some guys who were maybe watching football or downing shots, I donât know what they were doing but it was very loud anyway.
