My friend and I dined here in early April. They have many choices of food and small plates that you can share. Everything that we tried was scrumptious. Our waiter was the best.
Hidden away on the corner of Boltwood Walk in Amherst, where a little Thai restaurant used to be, is probably the best Kebab place I have encountered. We went there as a party of four and each and all were very pleased with the experience. The restaurant is small and allows a view into the kitchen where the grill and stoves do their thing.I started with Kashk e Bademjaan, a very tasty side for Iranian meals. Kashk e bademjaan is made of: Eggplant, curd, onion, garlic, turmeric, walnut, spearmint. While not big fan of eggplant, I found this dish delicious and more filling than expected. That made it a bit difficult for me to finish my entrée, Kabab Kubideh, two Skewers ground beef, chelo (Iranian rice) served with saffron rice, sumac, roasted tomato, roasted pepper, butter, and fresh lemons. Happily, I was able to summon the appetite to finish all of this wonder. The other three all had Joojeh Kabab, a skewer of boneless chicken thigh, served with the accompaniments I have already described. I stole part of my wifeâs and can easily pronounce it delicious as well. All of these were marinated in a variety of spices and slow cooked on the grill. The result is a very satisfying gustatory experience that probably represents the original Persian experience quite accurately. I can suggest this, because there were a number of diners who seemed to know exactly what they were doing. Torn between the chicken and the beef, next time I will order Ghafghazi Kebab, cubes of marinated grilled beef and chicken --- aka having your cake and eating it too.In addition, this restaurant caters and has a delivery service. The Taste of Persia definitely warrants a visit.

PRO: My chicken birayani was creamy, tasty and delicious. CON: My daughter's "lamb" (?) gyro was made with reconstituted meat product. PRO: Creamy home-made hummus was served with warm, fresh pita. PRO: Green salads were fresh and delicious, CON: but the yogurt salad was not as fresh as it could be. PRO: Service was friendly and quick, and I will give it another go next time I visit Amherst.

We are a family owned pizza shop located in South Amherst and are proud to be the oldest pizza place in Amherst run by its original owners. Our pizza is crafted from a family recipe, hand-tossed and topped with fresh, whole ingredients. Our dough and sauc
This is the second time I've had pizza from them. The first time was delivered and it was in a timely fashion. We ordered one gluten free (10" only), two regular and one vegan (they use Daiya). Everyone was very hungry after our move and the pizza was eaten along with curry. No complaints! We went to Sibies last night expecting to sit and eat there as some Yelp reviews had stated there was a large dining room. Well.... not so. It is a standard sub/pizza shop, actually a bit basic in appearance. Inside is simply a counter at which to order. Outside is one picnic table at the front next to the parking lot and one table around the corner. This was a Sunday night and the cantina next door was VERY busy so there were cars and pedestrians coming and going at all times. We chose to take the pizza home. The wait time was about 20 min. We ordered the 16" Mediterranean Veg - half vegan, half regular ($21 including tax and the $1.75 discount found on the menu). It was delicious! The crust was the perfect crunchy soft combination and the flavors were well matched and it was still hot when we arrived at home. The two of us ate all of it - 4 large pieces each. I was stuffed and my partner had had the perfect amount. I usually make my own pizza, but sometimes it's nice to have a quick dinner. They also have subs, wraps, wings, stuffed breads, salads, calzones, beverages and Ben & Jerry's ice cream pints available for sale. I have not tried anything but their pizza. I think the next time I will choose my own combination of toppings... there will be a next time.

My wife and I ate outside amid mostly empty tables. Service was unpleasantly slow even with few patrons inside. The duck olive bruschetta was overpowered by the olive tamponade, no chance for the duck or citrus to come through. My basil rhubarb salad was a failure, but by its extreme tartness and by the essentially raw large rhubarb chunks. The entree was the pasta special, tough overcooked chicken with a wide noodle that was overall bland. Even salt didn't help bring any flavor. Dining experience was disappointing for all 3 dishes, unambitious service, and a stiff price. Not recommended.
