Went there for dinner on a Wednesday. They take reservations, and we were seated immediately. The staff that served us was well trained, service oriented, awake and knowledgeable about the menu. The Caprese salad was delicious heirloom tomato, creamy mozzarella cheese, next we had the calamari appetizer, fried to golden in fresh oil, it gets better, on to the fisherman's stew (called something in Italian, not Ciopinno, there is no crab) Everything was fresh, well prepared and presented, tasty, the sauce for the fishermans stew was delicious, not a marinara cop out. They have a solid menu with choices of the day. Mom kept eyeing the pizza. Only drawback to me, It is a little noisy.

The food is Greek with a few Turkish specials. A great combination of cuisines not found very often in our country. Staff and owners are wonderful people who will make sure your lunch or dinner is better than expected. They can make the famous "Imam bayildi" but you usually have to call ahead. Lovely ambience and a full bar to make a complete evening. Parking nearby is usually ample.

Angelaâs is back! Starting with our first location in Marina Village, Angelaâs has been a staple of the Alameda restaurant scene since 2001. Now, we return in our new home, bringing Chef Saboor Zafariâs signature blend of Mediterranean flavors and Califor
The familia took us here for my wife's birthday. Had never noticed this restaurant before. They are located in a little strip plaza along Park St. Good thing my sister made reservations because the place was busy for dinner. Our meal started with their bread with carrot chutney. A nice tasty beginning. We also shared three appetizers. Mazza Platter, Bolani, and Duck Strudel. All were yummy. My favorite was the Bolani which was a stuffed flatbread filled with delicious ingredients! My wife and I shared the Lamb Kabob and the Spicy Chicken Sausage Linguini. She was really hoping they would have their Rack of Lamb. Unfortunately, it was not available that evening. We both thought the Lamb Kabob was okay. The grilled lamb tenderloin tasted fine, but would not order it again. (3 stars) The Spicy Chicken Sausage Linguini was a nice surprise. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavor of this dish. My wife also liked it much better than her entree. Very yummy! (4 stars)Overall, we had a good time at Angela's Kitchen. Have a feeling that we will be back in the future. Give them a try for yourself! We are glad you enjoyed the meal. Thanks so much for coming we hope to see you again soon.

Greek food is fresh and tastes relatively authentic. Lemon chicken soup is not the best I've had, but it's good. Chicken Souvlaki is always made to order, hot, and just off the grill.

Excellent chicken kebabs, great portions for the price. I only buy "to go" because I don't like the noise of the TVs on all day. I personally don't believe that TVs belong in a dining place. I want to enjoy my meal peacefully, having a nice conversation with my companion, or reading, or thinking. I'd wish they would see that TVs are very intrusive, disturbing and annoying for some of us.
