We stumbled across La Bitta our very first night in Lailueglia and came back 2 more time during our 6 days in Lailueglia. The owners are really relaxed, the place of the terrace could not be any better, sea view next to the old tower so a bit away from the crowd but Lailueglia is so small you will still see everbody passing by sipping your fine wine. And of course the food: really really topnotch for very reasonable prices. Be sure to make reservations.

Location and the interior of the restaurant are very nice. Unfortunately I can't say the same for food. Portions are very poor and food is nothing special. But the surprise was the bill. Very expensive for what we had also compared to other places in the area (We live here around). It absolutely didn't worth the money we spent!Will not return to this restaurant.

Come al solito ogni volta che ritorniamo a Andora almeno una volta ritorniamo in questo locale e come al solito il menu è sempre ottimo , Cenato con acciughe fritte ,trofie ,pescato crudo e branzino al forno .Il servizio veloce e gentile .

Like this restaurant. In one perfect place see the sea!!. Food all perfect based fresh fish!!The range quality price is ok for one restaurant close sea and quantity of plats!!For me 5 stars!!

We went to the Vascello Fantasma many years ago and we decided to go back as it has recently reopened after some years closure. Wow. The place is simply stunning. Modern and elegantly decorated in white and grey tones (perhaps a bit cold). The embroidered napkins are really beautiful. The food was overall good. Some dishes like the starters were excellent. The owner came at the table several times and was very charming. Only 4 stars and not 5 for some little attentions missing: we booked 2 weeks in advance and asked for a table near the window. They said: no problem. When we arrived we got the impression not to be awaited. One table near the window was free but they did not proposed it. We had to ask and they accepted. The dishes were not explained. The water never refilled. Madame only one time served first...just details but if they hope to get gastronomical ratings they have to pay attention.

Il Pirata was recommended by our host for the quality of its food. We liked watching all the local families around us enjoying a multi-generational meal together. We were theonly Americans there. My dinner was an excellent tagliatelle verdure with mushrooms, calamari and white truffles - a rare treat! Their tiramisu alle nocciola is the best I ever had.

We visited la guieglia on a thursday evening and found this little gem perched in a very picturesque square. The service was not only very friendly but also efficient practically no waiting from order to getting the main course on the the table. I would highly recommend the branzino ala liguria a ligurian recipe. Simply Excellent!!

This is a charming oasis in one of Italy's most beautiful seaside villages. Any restaurant that survives for 25 years is doing some things right. There are many things that are right here. The kitchen prepares elegant but unpretentious dishes that honor Ligurian tradition. The service is professional and informal, befitting a homey gathering place for both locals and visitors.There is a good range of starters, first and second courses, all at fair prices, along with a short but representative wine list.We have been coming here a couple of times a year for more than 8 years and all of our meals have been enjoyable. We appreciate high end restaurants, chefs that capture your imagination and bring surprises. But they are no substitute for a place that makes everyone feel at home, excellent "comfort food", day after day, season after season, with fair value.

In one of the nicest Italian villages, a marvelous restaurant. This restaurant is amazing. It is a non profit organization with social targets. Probably this is the reason the team is one of the kindest we ever met in Liguria. Since the beginning you are nicely welcomed, and all develops in a very homely smooth wait. But the best is in the dish. We had very good stuffed anchovies, squids and octopus were perfectly cooked. A good Italian restaurant must have excellent pasta. This is the case in U Levantin. Their herbs stuffed mezzalune with nut sauce were perfect. Local 'brandacajun' was also nice. Wonderful home desserts. They also have good live music! For all this quality, prices are much lower than average. Run to U Levantin when you come to Liguria. You are going to help people, and you are going to have un unforgettable gastronomic experience!

The place is simple and located in a nice square of the of the beautiful old town of albenga. We went for dinner and the restaurant was full. We booked in advance and were allocated a table at 5cm from the entrance door. Very unpleasant as each time some one enters, the wind hurts you. We were not yet served and a table in the centre of the restaurant became available. We asked to move and the answer was âno, we are fullâ. What?!? We booked as well and you are forcing us to stay in a freezy table...the food was ok but nothing extraordinary. But once you eat in uncomfortable situations and the attitude is so âLigurianâ...that does not matter. There are so many places around....
