Find out what Lebanese restaurants to try in Bamako. One of the fastest growing cities in the world, Bamako sprawls across the flat plains to the north and south of the Niger River, with the Presidential Palace overlooking from the northern escarpment. The city is a major port, home to Mali's largest international airport and the Dakar-Niger Railway. Bamako is also a cultural hub, boasting multiple museums, a zoo, botanical gardens, the Bamako Grand Mosque and the Cathedral of Bamako.

Eating here is convenient, while there is nothing quite special about the food, its filling and serves its purpose. Service is reasonably good, the atmosphere is nice and they have a fairly good Wi-Fi connection which always helps! The one big negative for the place is that the allow indoor smoking - even thought they have open seating outside gusts are allowed to light up inside - a big no no in my opinion; the smoke not only spoils the eating experience but its also a health hazard and considering the number of children inside should not be allowed.
I am shocked that anyone would rate Poularco as average. They must have ordered something boring. Poularco's fattoush is better than any Lebanese salad I've had in the hundreds of Lebanese restaurants and homes I've been to. It is so perfect and well prepared I am compelled to return again and again. Poularco is an ideal lunch oasis in Hippodrome and worth the trip if you're staying in another neighborhood. The fahita chicken sandwich is delicious too. Poularco's owners use fresh vegetables and everything is incredibly tasty and well-seasoned. I heartily endorse this restaurant above all others for lunch. The atmosphere isn't ideal for dinner unless it's a solo dinner.

Execellent Restaurant, the food is pure perfection. The specialty is Lebanese but they also do various types of dishes including french and italian cusine. The owner and his wife are the chefs and their food is very clean. To sum it up the restaurant can be presented as the tastiest Lebanese Restaurant in the country.
