Like: Great food, efficient service, convenient locationDislike:Basic and cheap interior, unclear menu and hard for a non arab to decipher, expensive by standards average dish price was around AED 40 which is what a hallab or anyother decent arabic joint would charge in Dubai
Came on a recommendation. Turkish coffee was gorgeous. Not too strong and lovely hint of cardamom. We had the breakfast plate which looked stunning and tasted even better. The plate had falafel, black olives, labneh, hummus, eggs, foul, salad and bread. Lemon beef strips were also superb. Great place for breakfast or lunch. The sign says they open Saturday to Thursday 7am to 1pm, closed on Fridays. Ample parking right outside. If it were in Dubai, we would come all the time.

We were there for an open buffet in the holy month of Ramadan, I've tried almost every dish, every single one is amazing.. it is very rare that you find a restaurant that masters almost every dish they serve.. that's being said, the deserts weren't so amazing..Highly recommended

Was there for lunch with a colleague, strange arrangement of different parts of the "complex". in 4 different dining areas. The Palm Garden area, Fountain Garden Area, Coffee Shop and the Lebanese restaurant. Wasn't sure which part I was in, may be Coffee shop. There was also people having their lunch time food as well as shisha smoking. Nice smell, but also a fair share of smokes too. The food was fine, eatable, but nothing outstanding. The strong smell from the shisha smokers didn't really help. They didn't ask if we are smoking or none smoking. The toilets are very interesting, as it outside round the back near the staff area. Not the cleanest toilet I seen and the smell is somewhat stronger than the shisha smell. When I want to pay the bill, I was told to go to the Cashier in the main building. They asked if I had the right money or change? AS they didn't have enough change this earlier time of day. Draw your own conclusion, 1pm in the afternoon is NOT too early to have enough change. You should have enough change at ALL time. Generally, the staff are friendly and helpful, but the management is need of improvement in organisation and better staff training. It needs a better toilet facility during the day time too.

Al Ain does not use street addresses, this restaurant is located on Khalifa Street which is one of the main streets in the downtown area.
Four of us shared time and a meal together...3 were satisfied...I was not...my order was not the correct one....but I took it anyway after the very long wait to be served. The veggies were flavorful...but the seafood was overcooked...dry and grilled too long.... sorry but I would not recommend going there...especially after waking in the night with cramps...etc... perhaps it was a one off but I am not willing to try again. It was very crowded at that hour as well.

Min Zaman immerses you into the delights of old Arabia. Extensive menu choices full of Arabian delicacies and the best Arabian Grills in town, this restaurant will not disappoint you. Enjoy the best Oriental food and supreme entertainment to pass your eve
We chose to eat at Min Zamm during our recent stay at the Al Ain Rotana (separate review) and absolutely loved the food, atmosphere and service. We wanted to smoke shisha with our meal so opted to eat outside, by the pool area. Even though it was a hot July evening. The cooling units surrounding the outdoor area kept the area nice and cool without being overpowering. The egg shaped mood lights gave a nice glow to the tables and the entertainment was tasteful and not overpowering...you could still have a nice conversation at your table. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly while the food was authentic, tasty and excellently presented! We had a few appetizers to include:- Grilled Halloumi Cheese, - Babaghannouj (Char grilled Eggplant Mash, Onions, Capsicum, Lemon Juice, Tomato and Olive Oil), - Makanik (Home-made Lebanese Mini sausages flambéed in butter and lemon garlic sauce, Pomegranate Molasses). As there were three of us eating, myself, my wife and 21yr old son, the dishes were very nicely sized so each of us could get a good tasting of each. The babba ganoush was some of the best I've had, with the eggplants left in chunks, (not ground to a paste as is sometimes the case) and garnished with pomegranate seeds, which added a very nice flavor. The grilled halloumi garnished with freshly sliced tomatoes was very tasty as well. For our main courses we chose the:- Mashawi Bahrieh (Char grilled lobster, shrimps,Hamour, Calamary, potato wedges ,Lemon And garlic Sauce), - Kastaleta Mashwieh (Marinated Char Grilled Lamb Chops, Grilled vegetables, French Fries and Garlic Oil); and the - Shish Taouk Sandwich (Marinated Char grilled Chicken,Markook Bread, Homous and potato Wedges). All were cooked to perfection and abundant portions. We complemented the evening with some very nice shisha and a couple of mixed cocktail drinks. A very pleasant dining experience, one I highly recommend for good food and ambiance.Dear Guest,We are very glad to know that we were able to take good care of you during your recent visit. We've visited this restaurant occasionally and were very surprised how tasty they cook meat and shawarma. They provide a big plate with fresh vegetables and bread as a starter, so don't order many meals. Portions are enough for adults and we even shared meals with each other.

Golden Sheep Restaurant has been a gem of Al Ain for many many years. Perhaps the decor is a little tired, maybe the service is not always very polished, but it is definitely a friendly and genuine place. The food is good value for money, the daily dishes are usually fine and the mixed grill is deservedly popular. Mutabel, hummus and tabbouleh are good and come in very generous portions. You won't leave this Lebanese restaurant feeling hungry!

After reading the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor, we drove across Al Ain from our own hotel with high hopes as we love Lebanese food! The outdoor setting is gorgeous and very chilled. However, the food was overpriced for the quality..and some real standard mezze dishes were missing from the menu. The worst thing was the service though.. they were very slow. We ended up not even ordering dessert as they left us alone for 20+ mins after we said we wished to have dessert. It is perhaps better for just drinks or shisha as those designated staff members were very attentive to the smokers. If this is the best Al Ain has to offer, we are glad to only be here 2 nights!
