KwakInn Club is the bar chain. We have Belgian beer caffe and 'Les Frites' diner. All of them become the real ambassador of Belgian beer and cuisine tradition. Kwakinn Club means good beer, good service and good atmosphere!
We stopped here to get a break from the lager fest that is Riga. The beer selection was vast and included a good number of my Belgian favorites. Obviously the prices were a little higher given the beer quality and the old city location. I would recommend for Belgian beer lovers. Thanks!

A cozy family restaurant to have an excellent meal in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Our main value is friendship as we have only family members and close friends working here. Our team are professionals that had been working on catering for embassies al

Valter`s Restaurant boasts a contemporary - fine dining Latvian cuisine based mostly on Latvia's own seasonal products such as milk, vegetables, meat, fish, fruit and game coming from local farmers. The restaurant`s interior with Latvian landscapes recall
We decided to have a light meal here. We skipper starters and just took Maine and desserts. The little appetizer and sour dough bread to start with were delicious. The seabream with salad and the halibut were nicely presented and tasty. Dessert was an improvisation on cheesecake: there was a light and fluffy spoonful of cream cheese covered in berries and a scoop of berry ice cream. Although it tasted good I missed the cake bit.The staff were all super friendly and attentive. They spoke good English. The restaurant has a small terrace on the street.Total cost for two including wine (36 euro) and water was 94 euro.

Authentic dishes from Baltics. Two nations are meeting under one roof asking you to explore what is traditional, unbeatable and real.
Upon entering Milda your ears will start listening to relaxing piano and saxophone music in the background. The ambience is very clean and kept rather modern. The waiters are friendly and professional - automatically offering you the menu in English when you greet them with a hello. The menu mostly offers traditional Latvian dishes as well as some Latvian beers. The prices are quite fair and the portion of my traditional potato dish was rather large and satisfying. We received an appetizer - bread with chicken liver pâté - for free. Milda is worth a visit if you're interested in local cuisine and a relaxing atmosphere while eating.

The restaurant Domini Canes is located in a place of historical significance: in the old town amongst the churches of St. Peter and St. John. From both the summer terrace and the tables within the restaurant you will see the picturesque St. Peterâs. Yet w
Fantastic relaxed atmosphere. The food is brilliant, clever with loads of hidden subtle tastes. The restaurant was full and tables fully booked for the night. The staff were really helpful with the chicken main course and Elk burger being highlights. The special ice cream was recommended by the waiter and waitress, and the many beautiful flavours and the presentation was a triumph. The cost was a lot less than we expected, and so therefore we felt we had great value. Very happy to recommend Domini Capes to all.

Our cosy yet chic Dome Fish Restaurant has established its reputation with delicious fish cuisine. The fish we serve here is delivered mostly by small local fisheries and even fishermen themselves. Thus, once a week there's a special delivery from PÄvilos
By chance the restaurant was very close to our hotel. We were celebrating a major anniversary and were happy to splash out. Champagne, wine, oysters, halibut, desserts, tea etc etc. We ate on the roof terrace on a very warm evening. Service was charming and efficient and we were made to feel at home. The food was really very good, as was the champagne and the wine. We highly recommend the Dome.

However we are not only proud of living in Latvia as well as the products that are produced by local farmers, also about sharing it with people. That is the reasons why we opened Riits - the place where we can cook delicious dishes of organic products tha
We had dinner here and expectations were quite high based on ratings and recommendations. Most of tje food were tasteless and looked much better than actually tasted. They seemed to have forgotten all spices from the food. Would not recommend this one, pick another one.

...but other than then, it was a pretty 'ok' experience. The food was great, despite the fact the two medium grilled beef fillet' ended up being one medium and one medium red (grill is their speciality) - and this after they were out of the Chateaubriand, which seemed to be a 'show piece' on the menu, more than something they actually have in stock (waitress looked surprised that anyone would order it)? But again, overall a good experience...

You could't ask for a more perfect location. Housed in an historic building surrounded by ionic columns, Kolonade offers postcard quality views of the Freedom Monument ant the Laima Clock as well as the National Opera and its gardens. The menu, which prov
On our second visit to this beautiful "old town" city of Riga, we rushed to the restaurant to book a late table after the opera (which is almost opposite) and were again delighted with the ambience, the food, its presentation and the service. The flavours of the food were not spoilt by too much "presentation"; the table settings and cutlery/crockery top-class and there is a lovely view over the park from the enormous windows. Relaxed and replete..what more can one say except that we hope to visit Riga again and the Kolonade will be on the list of to-do.
