Almost missed out on this place. Planned to go somewhere else but had a long wait, so came here instead. I'm a very picky eater and was hesitant to try the tacos, but they were delicious, as were the flautas...best I've had. Spent the rest of my vacation up and down the coast of California chasing these tacos and nothing else compared! Oh how I'll miss these :(

Celebrating my husbandâs birthday with family and friends, this was the perfect restaurant. Started with drinks at the bar, with Robert mixing up some great cocktails and conversation. Proceeded to having guacamole, salsa and chips, delish. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I had the lamb mole and lobster tail, awesome. Complimentary churros for my husbands birthday, but the butter cake with coconut ice cream was fantastic. Ronnie our server was great !!!

Reservations are highly recommended. The pricing may seem high, but the food availability and quality, justifies the tab. The salad bar is second to none. But donât dine on too much from there. This is the place to enjoy the tasty and very, very delicious barbecued beef. I parked a few blocks away.

You better have reservations for this popular Mexican restaurant across from famous Sunset Grill (remember song by Don Henley?) and famous Guitar Center. We waited outside for an hour before we got a table and saw a whole lot of apparent Ubers dropping off groups of young adults dressed to the nines. First time i ever saw flaming margaritas (I usually am in bed by the time we were served). This is a crazy busy, noisy, and boisterous place. Wonderful musician had a huge bass guitar. It amazed me how our server could hear our orders over the noise but I guess they are used to it. We had albondigas soup, Carne con Chile Colorado, fish tacos. I ate the fish with the crema sauce and cabbage and left the tortilla because of dietary restrictions. Hubby liked the soup and chile. The experience of the atmosphere grabbed more attention than the food. I think the food has been toned down for sensitive palates?

I've lost count of the times I've been here but it's certainly more than any other restaurant in Los Angeles. I've never had a bad meal here - and everyone I've brought has enjoyed it.The one dish I have to have is the rib eye cap - something not seen in all steak houses but has the best of flavour and texture.Good wine list, great service, low key and quiet restaurant without being pretentious. I cannot say enough good.

I came here for brunch right when the restaurant opened, and we were seated right away in the back garden. There was a lot of construction back there, but we weren't seated too close to it and it wasn't too loud. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and am honestly shocked that it was all vegan. The gravy was absolutely delicious, I couldn't believe how similar it tasted to meat. It's only an appetizer, but it's huge, and definitely is a meal for one person. The service did slow down a bit once more people started to arrive, but it wasn't a huge problem. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in LA.
