Reviews on Latin food in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. Scottsdale has more spas per capita than any other city in the U.S.—so whether you’re looking for the latest medi-spa technology or a new-agey, bohemian vibe, there’s sure to be something for you. It's a good thing, too—after spending all day touring the beautiful desert, you'll be grateful for some pampering.

Enjoy a pairing of traditional Latin cuisine and a contemporary culinary style at deseo. Choose from a selection of small plates, ceviches and meats prepared with South American-inspired marinades and sauces.
This is one of the few restaurants I've been to where the appetizers are so good, there's no need to order a main entree. There are a wide variety of excellent options in culinary fare.

Unfortunately I do not eat much âheatâ and the Peruvian Stew was very hot so our server recommended the Mahi tacos. I ordered fish grilled and although cooked well the portions was more appropriate for appetizers and not a meal with minimal seasoning. The tacos are advertised as fried and come out twice the size so there must be a lot of batter. I would not order again. My husband, who is able to eat spicy food, had the stew and it was too hot for him. He ate the fish but left the rest. The yuca bread was okay. The guacamole looked fantastic and I would recommend based on everyoneâs response. It might have made my tacos more flavorful. Enjoyed seating outdoors in back patio.

Came to Scottsdale for a national certification. Decided to stay at the Fairmont princess. Gorgeous grounds. Found La Hacienda on our first night and ended up eating there all three nights having something different each night. The food was superb from the appetizers to the main course everything so delish we wanted to lick the plates literally. For desert try the house made churros... light and fluffy with chocolate dipping sauce. The cocktails were delish too. Our server Sean Kelly every night was amazing... professional and very knowledgeable about the menu. Was spot on with all recommendations.Dear Gaylene C,Thank you for sharing your review of La Hacienda. You've nailed it! From our smoked adobo chicken with crema and barbecued sea bass to our slow-braised pork carnitas with sweet corn and habanero, our menu will have you wanting to come back for more. We can't wait to welcome you back for another flawless experience â and feel free to lick the plates â we won't judge!Sincerely,Katie JohnsonDigital Communications Manager

Very friendly attendants and wait staff that know all the right answers and very accommodating with special requests. The menu is exciting with a lot of variety. The civiche is especially good along with the seafood.

Very friendly staff. So many menu choices to pick from and all of them looked great. Many different margaritas and cocktails to choose from. Fresh veggies and tortillas, loved the guacamole too. Family friendly and looked like a great place for a crowd. Would go again if I come back.
