My four years old daughter likes "Pupusas" and this is the place for the right ones, since they offer a whole selection: cheese, cheese and veggies, cheese and lorocco, cheese and chicken, pork, and ⦠besides that you can choose from corn flour or rice flour or both! This time we got our to go! For my daughter I got two cheese pupusas. And I also got two dinner pupusa plates that include two pupusas with rice and beans, and again you can choose from whole, pinto, or refried beans!I got the cheese and veggies pupusas one made from rice flour and one from the corn one! And I can say that the rice flour has a little different flavor, but I like it. Besides the rice is just delicious, is different to the red one served at Mexican restaurant!Another plus was that we were there after 5 p.m. meaning after lunch and just before dinner so it was not busy, but they had some orders to go. And usually this place gets busy at the times! So, just keep this on mind if you want to enjoy your meal.If you want just made pupusas you have to way to be cook, so please just be a little patience, they are not like fast food!Every body was really polite and courteous and have a nice conversation while we waited for our order.

Great fresh food at reasonable prices -- you can see them patting out thick handmade tortillas while you wait. Great chicken, steak, tacos and quesadillas. We showed up hungry and tired and left with happy full bellies all around. Wish we lived closer so we could eat here more often.

Their solid variety of quality Mexican food, salsas and that personal touch I call "corazon" at Hacienda Grill cannot beat. But their Carnitas Super Burrito is a large pillow of dreaminess!Go ahead and fill up on the warm corn tortillas and awesome salsa because you're never going to be able to finish the WHOLE burrito anyways! They'll even cut it in half for you for a nominal charge, so you can eat half now, and have the second half for another full meal later. It's that big and that good.Hacienda Grill is an authentic and friendly Taqueria with a nice atmosphere, quick service and it is always filled with locals and regulars from downtown, local government offices and employees and customers of Kaiser Permanente which is across the street. Plenty of safe parking surrounds the restaurant, it is close to BART and the Civic Center and they'll always make your food the way you want it.To go orders are always perfect too. I just speed-dial give them a call when I'm leaving San Rafael and heading East on the Richmond Bridge and it's FRESH, hot and ready when I get there.
