We popped in for a light breakfast, which consisted of coffee, two small pastries, and juice. A lot of people were having the same.Awaiting our order, I saw a waiter clear a nearby table. The customer had a left a full, or nearly full, glass of orange juice. To my utter amazement the waiter stopped behind the counter and dropped off the juice before taking the tray into the back. I watched in horror as our waitress put it onto our tray and brought it over us. WHAT?!? I don't know if it was untouched or if the last customer had a sip. And neither did they. But there was no way I was drinking a strangers discarded juice. I couldn't complain as my Spanish is not good enough to explain what I had seen, so I just left it.While we were drinking our coffee I saw our waitress clear another table, this time with two full/nearly full juices left. Yes, you guessed it, she dropped them off behind the counter and a minute or two later delivered them to a new table.I'm disgusted by this practice. Not only is it icky, but what if someone has a cold or something and the germs get passed on? Just grim and wrong.

The place is uncharming, but the âempanadasâ are the best in town. I consider myself like an âempanadasâ expert, because it is my favorite food. During my recent stay at Salta I did a casting between the most renowned places to est them, and definitely this is my final choice.

Excellent parrilla "espeto corrido" style. They serve different typical argentine asado cuts. They offer different types of side dishes, and you eat as much as you want. They also have a good wine selection. It's a dinning experience you shouldnt miss while visiting Salta. It feels like you are having asado at a friends place. Good service, amazing asado.

This place has a rustic cool vibe to it. The service was really warm and friendly. The food here was great, itâs well done home cooked food - and the ceviches are great too. Donât come if youâre expecting white table clothes and a sommelier - thatâs not what this restaurant is about. We had lunch and came back a night or two later for dinner. The waitress was particularly friendly and even found some mosquito spray when she saw me scratching. If you sit out side in the lovely courtyard - wear some mossie spray. If your Spanish is good enough - the lunch time menu of the day is recommended ( this will not be written down - itâs verbally delivered). If you like good food, fab service in a relaxed setting, you will love this.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS! The waiter was rude and insolent when one person in our party ordered mineral water rather than a more expensive wine. Then he claimed our credit card was rejected, even though it had been successfully used in numerous restaurants. Then he refused to re-check or run the card a second time. He also spent a good deal of the evening having long conversations with one patron, who evidently was a personal friend, rather than pay attention to other customers. He also delayed taking orders to the kitchen because after he left our table with an order he stopped for a long time to speak with a friend who was dining at the establishment.

Colorful, clean, colonial decor. Family oriented restaurant. Typical local dishes. I agree with other reviewers regarding the servers. Although they all wear a gaucho attire that blends nicely with the decor, they could show more motivation.Tip: This restaurant does not accept MasterCard or American Express they only accept Visa or cash.

This great restaurant was on walking distance from our hotel; in a street with several restoâs including some with live entertainment. This resto is classic Argentinia. At 20:00, you'll be one of the first to enter.Very friendly, helpful waiter. Fantastic Malbec wine selection. Once I tried the local fish which was ok but prefer their steaks.Spaghetti is not recommended.Half steak is still large.Second evening less friendly service but still OK. Accept credit cards.Parking in the streets in the vincinity. You won't be alone.

Make reservations, but it's authentic Argentina. the music and dancing were a lot of fun; very glad to have experienced it with them. The food was decent, and wine was excellent. Overall service was decent also, particularly given the type of venue. Definitely worth visiting and experiencing

The location is really far off, so it looked real strange when we arrived in a quiet suburb to find a long line of people outside at 20.45 already. The place opens at 21.00 only. Luckily it is huge, with several smaller rooms and outside sitting areas. The restaurant lives up to its reputation, mainly in terms of the music and atmosphere. The food was quite good as well, especially of you are into meat. A great selection of wines too. We were lucky that two young talented musicians joined our room and performed for an hour. Offer them drinks to keep them going!
