Things to do in San German
I visited this restaurant two weeks ago for the first time and although the food was great I wrote no reviews because the service was very slow. Yesterday I went back and again the food was delicious for my surprise the service was excellent as well. Definitely our new favorite!

Very good food and very interesting way to serve. The food was excellent, it was traditional Puertorrican food but serve in a different way. Excellent flavor and temperature as you expect. More colorful and rich plates, made the different. The service was excellent, The chef and the employees were very friendly and give us excellent suggestions about the different plates they made. The place is clean and comfortable. Not a fancy place but very nice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are open from7:00 am to 9:00 pm from Monday to Friday and from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Saturday and 11:00 to 11:00 pm on Sunday.

Colonial building with a beautiful view of Old San German's courtyard and Porta Coeli, the oldest church in Puerto Rico built by the spaniards in 1606.
Just try it! The shrimp is totally different. Old Style Bun~uelos are spectacular! Corn Sticks (Surrullitos are one of the best!), Barrigas de Vieja like in no other place. Jose just redefine the Tapas concept- Try the CHorizo in Chimichurri sause over a garnish of beans speard over bread- Just sabroso!

Mike's surpassed my expectations in terms of food taste, quality and overall experience. I will added to my list of a must if you are in the area.Menu is quite extensive and prices very affordable. They know the market and the limits for a steakhouse located in the Island and not trying to defiant the San Juan prices.Started with the sampler and the fish was outstanding. Had the T-Bone with steam vegetables and salad with a layer of mushrooms. Awesome for $16.99. My party had the chicken fajitas and chicken breasts. For the fajitas, I will use a reference that only Puertorricans will understand: there were as Chilis original fajitas years ago!!!Wrapped up the night with two desserts: "flan de coco" and "flan de queso". The second one is homemade but both were on the money.I will be back.

Telefono number is 787-659-7155 they just open on March 2011. I have visited the place twice and I really love it.
First off, the location is quite beautiful. Right in the middle of the "plaza" and with a great view of Porta Coeli, Went to Lupitos for a couple of drinks and we ended up ordering some nachos as well. The margaritas were good (I had original, my companion had passion fruit), and we ordered nachos with everything on top. My only suggestion is that if nachos are meant to have everything, put some guacamole on top as well. Other than that, service and everything was good.

The is place is beautiful and delicious with great service. We stopped for some mid afternoon snacks and a cold drink. When we walked in they were cutting up two pineapples which became the freshest pineapple juice my kids have ever had served up in milkshake glasses. My husband and I loved our mojitos. The food had Puerto Rican flavors but was really creative and different. Highly recommend!
