En nuestras vacaciones del fin de semana de él 4 de julio,Independencia de EUA,fuimos a este puerto de San Felipe.Y buscando opciones para comer,vimos un panfleto menú,en el lugar donde nos hospedamos,y decidà probar.Y qué bueno que los descubrimos porque para nosotros es el mejor ,están en una ciudad con muchos restaurantes no tan limpios,otros atascados,sin estacionamiento,otros cerrados en plena época vacacional,y otros vacÃos ,por alguna razón.El local es nuevo,limpio,cabaña moderna,AC,en esquina,con estacionamiento,pantallas LED con música ambiental regional mexicana,etc.Ãramos dos familias,ocho integrantes,doble mesa,estaban casi siempre casi llenos,y aún asà fuimos muy bien atendidos por las muchachas meseras,muy bien ellas.Y el encargado del local atento al negocio,cocina y servicio.El Chef y cocineros son un PLUS,en mayúsculas ,todos los platillos nos encantaron con su presentación,porción y sabor.Ya ni le buscamos más en este puerto.Por lo que aquà comimos el desayuno,comida y/o cena.Otra cosa,los precios son muy bajos en relación con la comida-calidad que sirven.Casi siempre gastamos 420 a 550 pesos por 4 personas,barato.Aceptan tarjetas de débito y crédito.Gracias por haberlos encontrarlos y por su trabajo y dedicación.Estoy muy seguro que pronto estarán en primeros lugares en la posición de los restaurantes,para mà ya lo están.Se los súper recomendamos,ni lo piensen,ni busquen más.Ni lo duden en comer aquÃ.

We went here over thanksgiving 2017. We needed a break from working on our business. The restaurant offered a wonderful salsa with chips. The chips were all whole and the salsa was a house recipe from Veracruz. It was a nice change from what all the other places offer. The chef mentioned that some people buy jars of the salsa to take home. The dishes were all made to perfection. We enjoyed this meal very much. I loved the cheerful kitchen set up and the fact that you are on the second floor overlooking all that goes on in the street below. I look forward to dining here again. Take a look at our pictures! They are worth 1000 words!

We stopped to eat here during the San Felipe Baja 250. There was ample seating and free wifi. Like most of Mexico, service is extremely slow. It took an hour to get a taco. The shrimp plate and seafood soup were amazing!

They do have good food here but it is not a favorite of mine. Mostly Sea Food or Mexican Food which I eat little of. "Yes" I realize I am in Mx. & on the Sea but just my personal opinion. A favorite here is Coconut Shrimp if it's your favorite. Place is clean tho not fancy & right on the Malocon.

The tacos here are fantastic! I especially love the Tacos al Pastor. You choose your meat, and the kind of tortilla you want and then you add all of your own fixings! So good! The only thing that would make it better is if they sold some nice cold beer to go with the tacos! We will visit here again and again.

Excellent. Perfect service, FOOD & right on the Malecón!Came up on MAY 5! Worried weâd be in a mob! Had to park several blocks away but upon arrival we found a great seat on the patio!$11.50 US for a delicious shrimp fettuccine!!!Great meal - donât pass this place.

The rating is based on location - this is San Felipe! Holding out the "5" for that place I haven't discovered. That said - La Vaquita offers great seafood and reasonable ambiance, and price if very reasonable (very inexpensive by US standards). We have been twice in our two trips to San Felilpe, 2016 and now 2019 - on both visits we sat outside, as the TV inside made it difficult for conversation. But the fact that we went back on our second trip sums it up - recommended.
