I have yet to fall in love with Costa Rican cuisine, but this place is pretty nice. I had a smaller portion of the conch ceviche (nice, but I prefer the shrimp ceviche or the mixed fish/shrimp) and a whole spineless corvina. The fish was unfortunately deep fried which kills any taste it might have had. Service was great though and you can pay with credit card, which is always appreciated. Fullest place on the whole beach, so must be ok in comparison.

We ate here whilst staying at the Rosa De America hotel and it is a cool quirky little place with good local food, we had a selection of Bocas. Beer was cold and also served Chilean wines which I suspect were on hand more for the tourists.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Good food, reasonable prices and a nice view of the bay. Breezy, cool and relaxing. We had the Filet Pescado Lucifer and arroz con Camarades; both were large portions and delicious. The banana chips and sauce they it out as an appetizer were great too. Definitely worth a visit.
Good food, pancake, eggs tost,Casados tipical dish, Burrito, taco, rices , grillet filet chichen or fish, chichen soup,Salad,
Typical Costa Rican Soda but the food was exceptionally good and worth the wait. It was obviously not pre-made, but was prepared on order. Casado con pescado was the special of the day and was truly delicious and well presented! Excellent batidos, very good coffee and very friendly people. Unfortunately only open for desayuno y almuerzo. Probably my favourite frequent place to snack or eat. Gracias Harold , Sylvia y Yerlin!

It is a pleasant place , open-air .... Our products come from handcrafted providers being of the highest quality .
We stopped in at Isla Coco's for lunch. It was a Saturday and we arrived 30 minutes early, before the 12 noon opening time. A waitress came out and offered us a table and served us drinks while we relaxed and waited for the staff to get organized. We ordered fish (tuna) tacos and whole red snapper. The food was prepared perfectly and quite good.Hola , muchas gracias por su recomendación, nos complace saber que fue de su agrado..!!Gracias de parte de nuestro personal..!

With a great location ...close to Rio Aranjuez..As many costaricans El Caballo Blanco is a traditional stop. Now days a lot of foreign visitors stop there, is a great stop if you are going to Monteverde Cloud Forest. Also great to break the drive from San Jose or Alajuela or Heredia, to most of the Guanacaste beachesThe menu is great, I love the Rice with Chicken. ( Arroz con Pollo) one of thebest...and huge portion, with one order 3 kids can eat...or two adults.Steaks are also great, Ceviche always fresh and cold.Natural smmothies, Papaya, Piña, Mora, etc...they are big and fresh.Salads are also great. They are very good option for breakfast...they close at 8PM

The place is the most elegant you can find in Puntarenas. Air conditioned, comfortable, clean bathrooms. The food is decent, nice portions, good flavor.Beer is ice cold, b-e-autiufl! Service has a lot to improve. The waiters were distracted, had to ask them for napkins and water after they brought the beverages. They forgot to bring my ceviche appetizer. They were talking loudly about leaving early and completely immerse playing really loud video games (Free Fire, it was so loud we could tell for sure) on their phones while we were trying to call their attention to get a second round of beers.Someone should tell management to give the waiting staff a bit of traiginig on customerâs service. It was Sunday, January 13 around 2:00 p.m. when we had this experience. Thanks!
