Great house-made chips and salsa, with complimentary warm bean dip. Portion size was reasonable. Food was good and prices were on the moderate-side. I had the pork carnitas and my wife had a Chile releno wrapped in a flour tortilla (smothered in cheese). Nothing extraordinary, but certainly a place to come back to if Iâm in the neighborhood.

At the very beginning, the service was poor. We were seated right away, but nobody came with chips and salsa, no water, no drink order. It was quite a while before anyone bothered. When we placed our drink order we asked for some chips and salsa. Tortilla chips consisted of crumbled pieces, and the salsa was the consistency of water. When the food arrived, it was cold.Service was poor, and when we left we saw why. Everyone was up front.

Very well maintained premises, gracious hostess and chef. I was served a generous portion of the delicious Pescado Sudado, a whole white fish surrounded by a scrumptious sauce which was melt in your mouth good. I was instantly addicted as I could not stop eating it, even though I have never been able to eat a whole fish before in my life. My husband ordered the Bistek alo pobra: rib eye steak, which he enjoyed, despite the gristle in some parts of his steak. The generous portion was served along with tasty potato fries and plantains. One can tell that this is a gem of an eatery with above average food quality. This will definitely be one of our favorite places to eat in the future.

The total price was not bad but everything including the chips is sold individually. The fajitas looked to be the best deal based on what our group ordered. The chicken plat was plenty but dry. For me, once is enough. I'm of the opinion that the full service places are a better deal and better quality.
