We just ate dinner at Kimbute for the very first time and we loved it!! The seafood was delicious!! We ordered ceviche and guacamole for appetizers which were served with chips. For our meal we got octopus, shrimp, and a mixed seafood plate. These dishes came with either vegetables or salad! Food was amazing! Nonetheless, the service was amazing as well. Julio picked us up from the hotel and drove us to his restaurant. Both Julio and Arturo Rojas provided us with amazing service and were able to accommodate our gluten and lactose intolerances. Definitely recommend! Already planning our second dinner here!!

That is how we feel, having dinner at home, Doña Flor and all her family took care of us, the food was great, we had the tradicional Costarican Casados, with beef, and fish, and the natural fruit juices, we LOVED.they showed to us their hotel/motel rooms that they are building and they look really nice.we would recommend this place not just for eat but also to stay if you are planning to go to Samara Beach"Doña Flor and Family, thanks for your Hospitality"Pura VidaThe Gonzalez Family

Stopped by for margaritas and thinking of staying for dinner. Had tried jalepeno margaritas at Restaurante Catrina earlier in the week and they were excellent so my wife had one and I had a pineapple one. They were THE worst margaritas I've ever had and I've had them in many places. The jalepeno one was undrinkable and even tried mixing the two together to try to make them tolerable. Changed our mind on staying for dinner so i won't judge there. Server was friendly so no knock on her.

Besides a wonderful location on the beach where you can sit under trees, if weather permits, and the surfer feel of the location, this restaurant offers nice food at great prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating for special requests. Very nice place to relax, eat and/or have a drink. Definitely a go to place when visiting Samara.

Family early dinner.We ordered fajitas, fish Veracruz and a hamburger. The hamburger was the jalapeno burger, but didn't have any spice, hamburger was good. The fajitas were good but not special. Guacamole was too salty.The fish was not 100% cooked, the patacones were excellent.Service was excellent but not the food, did not meet expectations of a Mexican restaurant.

We had a great time watching the SuperBowl at El Sueno Tropical's restaurant/bar. Both of the owners were welcoming, and very interesting to talk to. All of the other guests we met and talked to were interesting travelers representing several different countries, the relaxed mood was very enjoyable. We shared two appetizers and a pizza, all very good, reasonably priced.The full bar really IS a full bar, with a variety of liquor and mixers. We stayed in Playa Carrillo with a friend, so we were not in need of a hotel, but the grounds and pool area that we walked through look very clean and well-groomed. Next time we're in the area we won't hesitate to stop by.

This place is one of the best places in Samara. Itâs a little hidden, but make the effort to find it. In six night stay with here twice. First time we had the Paella for two. Delicious! Next time we had plantings , ceviche , fresh red snapper and shrimp dishes. Excellent. Good prices too

We have eaten all over Costa Rica, and just when I thought a great steak was impossible to find, we came across this place! Open fire cooking at it's best. A great selection of wine, excellent service and an upscale atmosphere, brought us back for a second visit about a week later, and we weren't disappointed. A must visit if you are in the Samara/Carrillo area.
