This comfortable yet simple local restaurant presents elegantly served large plates of delicious very authentic Peruvian foods. In fact, we were the only none Peruvians in the place for lunch today! Now, that's a real testimony to the restaurants authenticity. My wife and I shared two very typical Peruvian dishes. First a mixed seafood cerviche and then a seafood chaufa. We just managed to finish all the wonderful food. It was so good we couldn't leave a morsel. The restaurant has a website and a Facebook page as well as a twitter account and a QR. Very well done. We can't wait to go back and try more dishes or pick up to take out one of their lunch specials. Definitely a plus for Broward County. Oh, by the way, they also serve "American Fare" for kids or those in your group that just don't understand the joy of trying new, but really excellent "foreign" food. All and all, it was a nice surprise.

This restaurant has very good Peruvian food. We were happily surprised that they had entertainment on Friday night @ 9. The duo sang mostly Latin songs but they were willing and able to sing in English .
This is one of the few authentic Mexican taquerias in Southeast Florida. Being small businesses they tend not to make it to the normal "Mexican restaurant" searches on the major mapping websitea. I found Taqueria Michoacana simply by noticing it as I drove by.When we entered we could see the usual horchata (one of my favorites) and juices and the jukebox was playing. Even though it was mid-afternoon on a Saturday there were a number of apparently Hispanic patrons eating lunch. So far so good. The menus were a bit tattered but the selection was good. We ordered carnitas, one tamal verde, chiles rellenos and the usual chicken nuggets and french fries for my son.The horchata was good; I enjoy the variation between restaurants (thank goodness it doesn't taste exactly the same everywhere). The tamal, ordered a la carte, came next. It was plain (not a lot of green sauce) but spicy. The carnitas were tender and delicious and the portion was large. The chiles rellenos was good, but the deep fried coating on the peppers got soggy in the tomato sauce. The dish was tasty if not my favorite chile relleno presentation. The refried beans and rice were also very good; the rice was on the yellow side, presumably from saffron. My son's chicken nuggets seemed to be the Tyson dinosaur-shaped variety; just fine for his very unadventurous spirit. As we were already "stuffed" by the end of the meal we took our "to go" boxes and left without trying any desert.Taqueria Michoacana is a straight-up neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Expect a simple restaurant with a good selection and good food and you won't be disappointed.

When you marry into a Colombian family, you are not only blessed with a true sense of "la familia" but also a veritable treasure of new culinary delights. We are, "regulars" at El Bacon, and have no need for the menu, every dish is indelibly printed in our minds. The food, atmosphere, and of course... the Colombian news on their televisions, makes you feel as if you were eating in Bogota! I have NEVER had a substandard meal in this establishment, they are consistent and never disappoint. Every, El Bacon location we have had the pleasure of visiting was outstanding. We even watched the, "World Cup," soccer at the Margate store...what an amazing time! Do yourself a favor, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner...you can't go wrong at El Bacon.

We been to Latin Cafe about 5 times. The first thing, if you ask for cafe con leche they will give you a little plastic stirrer. Really? like it was to go. You just don't serve cafe con leche at a table with a stirrer. Needed to ask for a real spoon each time. They don't know how to make a ham & cheese omelette, you don't slap two slices of cheese on top and call it. Am hopping it will improve and its the little things that make it good. (Management says it has resolved the spoon with cafe con leche issue), will see on the next visit. .

The food was decent. The price is fair for the amount of food you get. The servers were slow to respond to what you ask for. The bandeja paisa was OK, the chicharron was dry and the arepas were hard as a rock. Overall I was not impressed. Save your money if you're going with your family.

Before you will think to go to a fast food restaurant with burguers, think about this very good option; at La Granja Parrilla you will find real food at fast food prices, maybe this is their winning secret. This peruvian restaurant has adapted the original dishes to the Floridian-caribbean, market, the original Pollo a la Braza is served with french fries and salad, it has been adapted to this market with white rice and black beans, that also is not bad, is very acceptable even is not the original recipy. The restaurant offers free spicy sauces and onions sauces. Is not the best, but this place offers good fresh food at very low price. They offer the most popular peruvian food as lomos saltados, seafood and more.

Food is very good, dishes are somewhat smaller than usual as it is a fusion place. If you don't mind paying, then it is a good place to eat.
