We decided to stop for breakfast after a few hours on the road heading south. We had stopped at the Tripuà Hotel Resort Restaurant before but only for a drink, so were looking forward to having a meal here. Our waiter was gracious and accommodating, pressing the oranges himself to ensure the freshest juice. Ron ordered his standard two eggs over easy with sausage and pancakes and I decided to try the vegetarian scrambled eggs. The chef stir-fried onion, zucchini, carrot, spinach and other vegetables and finished with the eggs. The plate was served with a delightful potato cake - an absolutely delightful and delicious breakfast. There were several other people in the restaurant for breakfast that day as well, so it is obviously a popular spot for "boat people" or those staying at the resort. I enjoyed my breakfast immensely and recommend it highly to others.

A Mexican friend took us to Alebrijes. Rather unpretentious on the outside. He suggested the molcajete which we all ordered with variations of cameron and arrachera. It is cooked in an earthen pot with a sauce that grandma spent hours with after grinding with a mortar and pestle. Try it. Donât see how you wouldnât like it.

We went for a dinner "hook and cook" . I had had an excellent fishing trip with Blue Anchor Sport Fishing (the same owner). The food was superb trying breaded and fine herbs fish (yellow tale jurel) and shrimp, mushrooms and guacamole. The drinks were great and view very nice from the second floor; you can see a great scenery with the island and Mar de Cortez and the people wandering along the Maelcon. The place is little but cozy. We strongly recommend!

I can only second what all the other reviewers are writing. Very special setting, superb cuisine. Simple mexican dishes, perfectly cooked. cant imagine it could get any better than this. a universe away from the boring dtandard fare one gets in mexican joints all over the world. The Mole in particular is unbelievably good, so just hope itâll be in the meal Sophia chooses to cool for you :-)

The food, especially the arrechera, is excellent. The wheelbarrow of mesquite wood and the open fire are two good clues and the full tables is another. The condiment tray is great too. Great service but be prepared to know a little Spanish as no English was spoken on our visit. The great menu is bilingual though. Expect clean and delicious.

Part of our stay this year, we had first time guests visit to Loreto. Although they commented some of our preferred eating spots were a little more ârusticâ than they expected, they shared our for LM. They insisted they get to experience breakfast, lunch, and dinner at LM, and they did! Not only did they enjoy all the meals, they found the staff as accommodating and professional as in âless rusticâ places they had visited! LOL! During our visit, we had French Toast (wifeâs favorite) and Divorced eggs (my fav); several Main course Salads (yes, ok to eat); Enchilades with Green sauce, Fish tacos, and their Chicken soup ( a meal by itself!)- All great!Oh yeah! If you sit in front, great people watching and view of the Bay!

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the patio where we were served by three handsome, very nice young waiters who brought us two large Combo Platters filled with delicious offerings. The Chicken Mole was REALLY out of this world, but it was all very good - even the rice. The margaritas were also very tasty. Would definitely return in a heartbeat.
