Drove by a few times without even seeing it -- ! GPS your way to the neighborhood and walk it in. Quirky and authentic Cali-Mex. Tamales were on special; chicken and beef were both large sized and tasty. Carne Asada Burrito was huge -- could have served two if we'd had control. A hole in the wall that's worth digging into!

I came here for dinner earlier this week to celebrate a friend's birthday. He knew the owner and it was a pleasure meeting the owner of the restaurant. My friend has been raving about this restaurant for 4 years but somehow I never had the chance to visit. As others noted, don't let the location fool you. It's in a little strip mall type location. The restaurant isn't too big but it's very cozy. We went on a Tuesday night and there were several people there. I've been to Brazil over 30+ times and really love the food there. Some things are authentic and other items are the chef's creation (Guava Beef Sliders). They don't have Guava Beef Sliders in Brazil but fortunately they have them here! They were delicious! We ordered a ton of different items. Cheese bread, chicken croquette, crispy polenta, crispy yuca, french fries, combo plate,Picanha Plate, tri-tip plate, stroganoff, Feijoada, rice, chocolate mousse, passion fruit mousse, flan. It was ALL delicious! It was delicious and I'll definitely be back. I heard they also own a catering company so this would be a great option for those looking for a party. The food was fantastic and made me miss Brazil as I haven't been back in a few years.

Had heard some good things about this place...unfortunately none of them materialized when I actually ate there. The restaurant heating system wasn't working and the place was freezing. We were a party of three...only one of us was happy with our meal. My meal was SO disappointing....and one of the other diners ordered some kind of pork entree that looked like it had sat in the oven all day....way too dry. I wouldn't rush back here....also, service was slow.

Lovely small and very charming Peruvian place located in Encinitas near the water. The service was fantastic and the food was even better. I love that they sell some of their special house sauces by the jar. I am almost out of the citrus one I bought that goes extremely well with Seafood. Guess that means I''ll have to go back soon!

Hard to beat this place for ambiance, friendly people, food and views. WE had a Flamed Chile Rellanno stuffed with cheese and all the fixins. Plus some Cadillac Margaritas. The bartendar's Matt and Jason are incredible and make the place what it is. Fantastic!!

Located on the historic coast highway 101 in Leucadia California, Le Papagayo offers a unique fusion of Mediterranean and Latin American cuisine along with nightly live music entertainment all wrapped up in a quaint art gallery style fine dining establish
Have driven past Le Papagayo many times so decided to do weekend brunch. Sat outside and listened to great female guitarist/vocalist. Very mellow toons!Food was tasty, my son reckoned it was the best avocado toast heâs tried. My salad lacked flair - more goats cheese, some fresh herbs .. something to make it standout. The paleo banana, blueberry, coconut and buckwheat pancakes were good. Will come back with friends and enjoy the bottomless sangria or mimosas available at the weekend. Great atmosphere.
