Came to this resto based on a suggestion from a Korean food. There's definitely a reason why this little gen is highly rated. We entered on a Saturday around lunchtime. Fortunately, we were seated immediately. The servers are warm and friendly - imagine a Korean mom doting on you. As other readers have pointed out, the resto uses charcoal instead of gas to cook the meat. This little detail adds to the flavor of the meats such as galbi and bugolgi. The servers come by to cook the meat for you - so if you're used to cooking yr own food, let the experienced staff handle. Another highlight is the banchan (or side dishes). There is a whole spread including the usual suspects such as kimchi, tofu and radish. Don't be afraid to ask for addtl sides. The menu is a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. The meat dishes start at $28+ but can easily feed a party of four. There were six of us and we ordered 3 types of meats. In addition, the resto is located in Flushing and it's not the most convenient place to get to, esp if you're visiting NYC. But, as a local, it's definitely worth a detour.
Where to eat Asian food in Flushing: The Best Restaurants and Bars

They have the right amount of food selection. Most of which you will find at any Korean chicken and beer bars. Their chicken was great. Tteokbokki was great. Fries were good. Their prices are a little more expensive than other chicken and beer places in the area. So if you are just going for chicken and beer, there are other places that are just as good for less.Atmosphere is the reason I would recommend this place. Reason why I titled this Korean-American fusion is because of the actual place. Their bar area is like a typical American sports bar. Most of the chicken and beer bars I've been to just have tables without an actual bar area. Also TVs would just show Korean music videos and no real shows. At this place, they actually show sports and all that and play english music. So this will probably be a great spot to watch the superbowl or some other sporting events. So even though this is a Korean chicken and beer spot, it is infused with the American culture and will be a good place for newbies.

The food is good here and you can get a great value for all you can eat. But it is always crowded every time I try to go back, so it's best to go in the afternoon or try to make a reservation.

This restaurant has a friendly happy atmosphere. The wait Staff is very respectful and the food is very authentic home style meals. The side dishes are plentiful and unending. We've only been there for breakfast and lunch, but we go there every time we are in Flushing. Below the question what sort of visit was this, I answered for the last time we were there, but we have been there as a couple, family, friends and business. Extremely affordable.
We serve authentic Korean cuisine and BBQ. We use ingredients of highest quality. Our BBQ and beef rip soup use 100 percent real beef short ribs. We also serve Vietnamese pho.
This was my first visit, but it will not be my last. The food was great, the service was great and the smiles from the servers was great too. I ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice and th Bone Broth Soup.

The boys got wings. Spicy wings. Spicy, spicy wings.I got...oh lord, I don't know what, but here's a pic. It was rice balls (except they weren't balls, they looked like rigatoni)...and fish..in a spicy tomato sauce.OMG.It was spicy enough to make my nose run, but not make me sweat nastily.Yum.Yum.

After our last visit, Tang has become our new local favorite Korean restaurant. Service was lightning fast, our entire course was served before we even made a dent on the appetizers: Tang Special sushi roll & dozen raw oysters. Though we went with the familiar Galbi & Bulgogi & Japchae dishes from the $20 Tang Plus Sets, there are many other tasty authentic dishes to choose from and we'd certainly be back soon to try them all. And open 24 hours, Tang will be my #1 spot for hangover recovery.

Had dinner here with friends and we really enjoyed it. There was four of us and between the side dishes and main courses, there was plenty to share, which is to be expected with a Korean restaurant. Definitely recommend the bulgogi (marinated beef)! And the pan fried mandu. And the seafood pajeon was amazing as well. We loved all of it!! Our server was so sweet! I wish I had gotten her name. She was so kind and helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to New York.
