How does this amazing restaurant only have 1 review? It's INCREDIBLE! Dine in and get their life-changing broth to go with their fantastically-priced food. We will come back every time we are in Federal Way forever.
Look past the strip mall location and the darkened bar setting. Brings new meaning to "KFC", The Korean fried chicken wings are definitely "finger lickin' good". I ordered the regular spicy and it packed just enough enjoy the subtle honey and fermented chili paste coating. Going back during happy hour.

I absolutely loved the food, but the service is mediocre at best. I am half Korean, however I can not speak fluent Korean and it really irks me when I can't communicate with someone! The fact that they made me feel rushed from the get go (I mean they literally don't slow down for nothing) and then we could barely communicate with each other during the whole time. I would have rated them
I visited this restaurant 2 times and knowledgeable local Korean friends took me there the first time. Located at the entrance of an small indoor mall with so so decorations. But the service was good and sincere (ignore the ladies' English) and the food was excellent. Great value BTW. You can have lunch for $8 or $9 with 8 to 10 small dishes of kim-chi in front of you and a small grilled fish, plus whatever you order. Nothing more expensive than$29 on its menu. Most items less than $20. Very tasty soups of all kinds with tofu. As a world traveling foodie, I enjoyed finding an excellent place to eat for cheap. Place was still clean though not opulent. I highly recommend it.

The service in too many Korean restaurants will be deplorable if you are not Korean; not this restaurant! I walk in and the waiter quickly greets me warmly with a hello. My friend was thirty minutes late and the waiter is still friendly and not the least bit impatient! This is the very best place for traditional Korean beef soup ever. Your choices are Beef or mixed (beef, tongue, tendon etc..) Clear or yellow noodles. I ordered mixed (YUM!!) and clear noodles. They bring you a bowl of salt so that you and only you can cater to your salty desires and another bowl of sliced green onions and of course amazing banchan. The broth is flavorful, fresh, and reflects that it has been reduced to perfection! The meat again sooo very fresh, melt in your mouth tender!I also had steamed dumplings. OOOOOHH such a lovely experience! If you are in Federal Way and craving soup, Run to this place! You won't find better. If you love pho, this soup will blow you away and quickly become one of your favorite cravings!I loved this place and will be coming back with many friends and lotsa family!

Ventured down here for a friends birthday, I wouldn't normally drive to Federal Way from Seattle but good Korean BBQ isn't easily found. They give you a 2hr time limit (before charging again) but that is ample time to consume sinful amounts of excellent fare. I barely touched the prepared foods section and mostly used my inner Texan to devour as much meat as possible, and all of it was fantastic! The spicy pork was maybe my favorite but there are so many great options there. They offer sushi too but it looked like basic rolls one could buy in a grocery store so I didn't try them. Their soup was really good and they have this guava cake that, even though I was sickeningly full, I went back to have 4 pieces (they're small don't judge me). At $20 a head I considered this a fantastic value and a great place for friends and family. The servers hover a bit but it's mostly to make sure you're cooking the food right. I highly recommend, but be aware, it is super hidden from the street and once your GPS says turn, you've already passed it.

If you have ever been to or stayed in Federal Way you know there are LOTS of restaurant choices and options available! Making decision making tough.I just so happened to be staying at the Clarion Hotel across the street from the Palace Korean BBQ so my friend and I decided to go check it out for dinner. We were hungry! The place was packed!! We walked in and there were quite a few people waiting to be seated. We added our name to the list up front and sat down and waited to be seated.People started leaving and tables were cleared and soon we were being taken to a table and seated. There are hibachis (not sure if that is the proper name or not) in the middle of each table. Neither of us had been here before so we just looked around at what everyone around us was doing and eating. Everyone was cooking their own food at their own table. We glanced at the "Unlimited" menu not sure what it said as it was written in Korean but our lovely waitress explained it to us and we decided to order 2 of the Unlimited Buffet for $24.95 each.Quickly she came back with a cart of little dishes full of items we had no idea as to what it was and again she was helpful in explaining to us what each dish held.We were excited! It smelled delicious in there and we couldn't wait until we were brought our other dishes so that we could start cooking at our table. I've been to restaurants where a chef has cooked at my table but I have never been to one where I actually did the cooking at the table. It was an awesome experience! The Unlimited buffet offered an array of dishes; such as, shrimp, octopus, marinated beef, marinated pork short ribs, pork belly, marinated beef brisket, soybean paste soup, just to name a few.Wonderful and helpful service! They also serve rice wine and array of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and teas.No wifi service here. Definitely family-friendly! There were a lot of families here!Because it is an all-you-can-eat buffet there are no "to go" boxes. This was truly a wonderful eating experience! I really enjoyed and you will too. That's all for now, my friends,...until next time!

Korean BBQ
Had a thoroughly enjoyable meal here yesterday. Ordered two portions of Set C which was more than enough for two people. The meat and sides were excellent. Think they should have more buzzers on the table though so that that brilliant idea can take off more in the states.

The restaurant is in a cluster of Korean businesses. Look carefully because the English-language sign is relatively small and obscure. There's nothing exotic (for a Korean restaurant) but good solid Korean food well-cooked. My wife and daughter shared an order of marinated ribs--more than enough for two. I had steamed dumplings and an order of bibimbap. The meals come with nine different side dishes--kim chee, pancake, bean sprouts, etc. The food was very good. They have Korean rice wine (6%--do NOT drive afterwards). They do not serve desserts. Portions are large and they will spice to taste, although the food should be spicy. It appeared that we were the only people of non-Korean ancestry in this restaurant.

I was passing through the area and really wanted sushi for dinner. There are so many restaurants serving Asian inspired cuisine in and around Federal Way; competition is high and the choice is bemusing. So I consulted reliable TripAdvisor! This one had such great reviews that I chose here. Once again the positive feedback was accurate. (how did us travellers manage before TA?!)The exterior may be a bit lacking and the interior a bit dark for my taste but the food and service was decidedly much brighter. The tables are spacious and if you prefer there are traditional Japanese eating areas too.Copious amounts of fresh green tea were provided whilst I made my choice from an extensive menu. I could then see the skilled chef put it all together. Every item I had chosen was perfectly constructed, fresh, full of flavour and simply delicious. There was no skimping on the accompanying pickled ginger or wasabi either. As is often the case with sushi and sashimi, I had over ordered, but naturally a box was provided so I could take the remainder away with me.Very highly recommended.
