Instead of going into town, now you could have lunch or dinner at this new branch, which is great for us. Plenty of parking and the service is up to par; you have two hours to indulge yourself with all you can eat menu. We had lunch here on a Monday; still had to wait on line for 20 minutes, but it was well worth it.

I was happy I ordered the Spicy Chicken. It was delicious. Served with some sprouts, rice, kimchi, and mac salad. They actually plate small portions of these sides when you order, so you don't get to select your choices, and they do not offer the table an array of sides to pick on while you wait as most authentic Korean restaurants do. My friends had some fried items that did not look particularly inspiring, and the kalbi was cut very thin and did not look shiny hot the way I like to see it served. Everyone cleaned their plates so I guess they enjoyed their meals, I thought mine was great.Parking at Waimalu Shopping Center, where this restaurant is at the "Waikiki" end, is very tight. We ate lunch at around 2:15 and were lucky to find parking even at this after lunch hour.

This was our first exposure to Korean style food on the islands, and the food was quite tasty. We chose from their "Mini Plates" menu which averaged $9-$10 that come with your entree, two sides and a scoop of rice. Regular plates ranged from $11-$18 and came with 4 sides and two scoops of rice. Each regular plate would probably be sufficient to feed two or more people, we had leftovers from our two mini-plates.The BBQ Pork mini plate that I got was ordered with Macaroni Salad and Kimchi. The Pork was very flavorful but a bit tough and fatty. But they did give me more than enough of it so I was still able to have a filling meal with what was provided. The Kimchi was excellent and the macaroni salad was also very good. They have no public restrooms so the staff allowed me to wash my hands at the kitchen sink behind the counter. The lunchtime crowd had thinned but a steady stream of customers continued to come in.The food was very good, the staff was polite and courteous, and the accommodations were typical fast-food joint tables and booths.

A big thing for me going to Korean restaurants is the little namul side dishes that the restaurant serves. In Hawaii, it's like most Korean BBQs kind of heap on up to 4 generic-tasting side dishes with the your main course all in the same styrofoam container. It's more restaurant-like here where you come for a meal served on dishes and not worry about taking food home with you. The gave me six little side dishes, and I especially liked the shredded potato. Kimchi and cucumbers were quite good too. I had a combination meat jun and BBQ chicken combo which I though was plentiful for me. Both meats were moist, and the meat jun's egg batter was thick and tasty. The lady behind the counter who I think was the owner was attentive to me, but the waitress kind of ignored me for me some reason - who cares. I live pretty close to here now, so I'll definitely come back and try something else out.

Our staff had its end of the school year lunch at this restaurant. It is extremely clean and the employees are very hospitable as well as service minded. There is a heathy selection of ready-to-be cooked meat (spiced pork, chicken, beef slices and shirt ribs). In addition to these offerings cooked items are included (noodles, rice, gyoza, fried chicken pieces, etc.). All delicious and satisfying. This is a must dine experience. The staff enjoyed themselves and the price was reasonable for the group. What an excellent lunch!

Visited this strip - mall restruant to taste the food prior to catering an event. My colleague has the BBQ chicken and Meat jun combo while I had the BBQ chicken and vegetable tempura. The plates contained a lot of food, which in the part was delicious. I wasn't too impressed by the sides, but I wouldn't count that as a negative. The service was excellent. If you desire Korean cuisine, then give this place a try. It a local favorite. Tasty and huge servings.

Based on the line of people at the door prior to open, we abandoned our original lunch idea. The patrons said it was the best Korean in town! We were pleasantly surprised! Great value for lunch special! They offer three meats and three veggies with kimchi!Excellent food and service! My wife had food left over for dinner! Be patient as this assumes husband and wife team are serving, taking orders, taking phones, and cooking. Wonderful small business with great product!
