This place is the so-called "izakaya"-ish place, but this is relatively family friendly place.They have few private rooms suitable for group or family.Their Kamameshi, rice flavored with various seafood broth of your choice, is awsome.My favorite Kamameshi-set comes with a soup and few pieces of sashimi, which is also tastes grate.I definitely recommend you to try the set at your first visit.

Hamazushi is yet another good, inexpensive conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Japan. It's a popular lunch place and I understand that prices are lower through the week. I recommend it.

I lived in Japan many years ago as a member of the US Navy. Stationed just a few miles of this restaurant. I had the pleasure of having lunch here. Although they specializes in seafood, I decided to have tempura instead. Nevertheless I had a small portion of fish as a side dish. There is a fish market located directly behind the restaurant. Delightful and very affordable. The service was great and within a few minutes I was enjoying my meal.

This place is always packed and it stands alone as one of the top ramen spots I've been to. It's worth the wait for the bowl of noodles you're about to eat. Not much more to say, the ramen is good and worth traveling to.

The shop is a small shop, family run almost kittie-corner of the post office. It gets busy during lunchtime as it is very popular and cheap. The tempura is awesome and the portions are very good for such a cheap price. Tendon is very good but I think the anago is special! Get the Omori size for sure! Nowdays they even have an English menu on the wall. Guess this place is getting popular! Great tempura for under 1000 yen, can't beat it!

Love this sushi place. Very affordable. Cold beer. Water and green tea included. Sushi on the go round that you can grab anytime or order from the menu. The spicy charred salmon is to die for! Have been here several times and plan to go anytime I'm nearby!
