This is possibly the best take-away sushi in Denmark. The price is high, but so is the quality. If you tell them that the sushi is for your birthday or some other occasion, they will most likely and a little extra surprise at no extra cost. Order from them if you want to indulge in something special!

This family-friendly sushi restaurant serves running sushi between 17:00 and 21:00. The sushi, considering the price, is top-notch. The staff is very friendly, and if anything is missing on the conveyor belt, just tell them, and two minutes later it will be on the belt ... or they will bring it to your table. You will only pay DKK 179 (DKK 199 in the weekend) for all you can eat, including sticks, fruit and delicious desserts ... go for chocolate mousse, you won't regret it! Book a table or be prepared to wait for half an hour.

We were staying in Valby with our Son and we were looking for a lunchtime meal on Trip Advisor. He suggested that this was the best Sushi restaurant in the area and so we tried it.We have never had Sushi before so were rather apprehensive, also being in Denmark and not speaking Danish. However as in all other places a very nice waitress spoke perfect English and showed us to a table. I expect if full the lack of individual tables could be somewhat disconcerting but there weren't many people in for a Thursday lunchtime so we were happy. We explain that we had never eaten Sushi before so the waitress brought the pictorial menu, which displayed their dishes to full effect. She talked through the types of things we might like after ascertaining how hungry we were.We finally opted for the 'Perfect Day' starter and mains dish rather than individual dishes. The replaced one or two of the dishes to accommodate my wife who doesn't eat meat.I manged to use the provided chopsticks but after the starters they brought my wife the childrens version with elastic holding the top. Obviously as we had never eaten Sushi before we can't comment on the dishes compared to other establishments but we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of what we ate. We chose our desserts ourselves from the dozen small pots on offer, delicious too. We had water, with activated charcoal to remove any chlorine taste and some in house made ginger and lemonade to drink. The restaurant looked immaculate and all the food preparation was on view. The staff were polite and attentive and the toilets had selections of creams etc and some toothpicks on offer. We were very full when we finished which surprised me but it was a nice fullness which lasted several hours afterwards. No one else has mentioned it but I did think the £117 bill was a little steep even for Copenhagen but it was worth every penny.Dear Jim, Thank you very much for your beautiful and thorough review. We are very happy that you had an amazing first experience in our restaurant, and with sushi, as well as you felt good taken care of from our staff. We are delighted that you chose to stop by.We hope to be able to welcome you on anothr occasion. Perhaps in London or Berlin?Kind regardsSticks'n'Sushi

Japanese restaurant with focus on sushi & japanese robata grill.
We had dinner here and I would strongly suggest a reservation. The food was outstanding and the service very attentive. Despite our language barrier, we had a great meal of fresh fish and imaginative rolls. The atmosphere was good and the management accommodating. I can not recommend more highly. Even the prices were reasonable.

I never ate in the restaurant, only had take-out, and I love it! This place really knows how to make the best sushi, and it is always well presented! The rice has the right temperature and the ingredients are the best.
