Recently reopened after renovations, center of quaint small town Ladner
A perfect party platter ordered in advance, picked up in time and perfect for a group of people. The party tray had 48 pieces of sushi and all were tasty. Added an order of spider roll and some sashimi and wasn't disappointed. All in all a great experience.

Since this Japanese restaurant has opened we have visited here weekly. It was a great addition to Ladner. We think it is the best in Ladner for sure. The Tuna Bowl, Teriyaki Bento Box, Miso Soup, Karrage Chicken, Agedashi Tofu, Tempura are excellent and rolls arenât bad either. A must try but get there early or make a reservation as it gets busy. The service is fast and they need the turnover so we noticed it isnât where you hang around after your finished. Prices are reasonable.

our first experience as just fine. The ordering was easy (menu online), the food was ready quickly (just 20 minutes from my phone call time), and pick-up was smooth.Nothing special with the food, even the "surprise roll" wasn't much of a surprise. The only big disappointment was that the dynamite roll was done with "breaded" prawn instead of a tempura prawn. Makes for a disappointing roll. Helpful?

This is a take out restaurant. Tiny with a few tables but they are basically for waiting for your order or a very quick meal. The sushi is fresh, while you wait, just the right size for one bite a piece. We ordered party trays for 12 and it went over well with the crowd. The sushi special for one is a great value as it comes with miso soup and is a filling dinner. Two people might split it for lunch.

Apparently a local favorite. Not outstanding yet constantly a hit. Nice Dragon Rolls. A great take out as well. Looks and feels Japanese. Of course mostly a mix of people who live in the area. Consistent. Fresh clean product. Have enjoyed Sushi here on a number of occasions with a good vibration each visit.
This eatery is located inside the new Tsawwassen Mills shopping mall. You can see the mall on the way to the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal that is approximately 6 kilometers (3 miles) away.My spouse and I shared a teriyaki beef bento box for $11.54 including taxes. The bento box included the following (see photo):⢠4 piece California roll â rice was good⢠Vegetable tempura â mostly yam with 1 piece broccoli; no prawns⢠Edamame beans - About 9 pods ⢠Teriyaki beef⢠RiceRating BreakdownValue âportion size could have been larger for price paid - 3 out 5Taste & quality â nothing outstanding, acceptable and just okay - 2.75 out of 5Overall, I would rate the overall food experience â 2.75 out of 5. I would explore other eating options before coming back here.Notes and Tips:⢠This is appears to be a franchise operation as there are others including one at Richmond Centre. See my review of Richmond outlet.⢠Check out the company website⢠There are about 15 eating outlets at the food court including Asian, NY Fries, Greek, A&W and KFC. There are also other food outlets and restaurants through out the mall.⢠Clean washrooms in the food court complex and of course wheelchair accessible.⢠We arrived at the after 1:15 on this Friday afternoon and the food court was mostly empty (as was the mall)⢠Plenty of parking at the mall

The food was delightful and delicious. It is quite authentic Japanese food and impressive. Quiet, clean and a very peaceful atmosphere. I have been to Japan and this little gem reminded me of the good memories of Japan. Thanks for the awesome service and wonderful food. Will make a point of visiting again if I'm in the area.

We usually order the combination dinners because we get a selection of items and feel it is a good value. We thought the prices were a little higher than before and definitely higher than other restaurants where combinations usually start around $14.The miso soup was just okay...not a lot of tofu in it. The teriyaki chicken portion was very small...they have definitely decreased the portion size. Also, you have to ask if you donât want skin on the chicken and I recommend asking for less sauce. The tempura was a bit soggy and just okay. The gyoza was a big disappointment...it was fried and it was too hard on the outside with not a lot of filling.Overall, it was an okay meal, but not as good as it used to be and definelty not as good as the Japanese restaurant in Ladner.

Our first time at Kamome. Husband not terribly keen on sushi. So we didn't bother until tonight. We enjoyed a wonderful meal without any sushi... though I wouldn't have minded a little taste of it. Maybe next time ;). We started with the calamari salad and veggie gyoza. Then a plate of seared tuna sashimi. And finally we shared the beef teriyaki. All dishes were fresh, wonderfully seasoned, tasty and very satisfying. So please note that if sushi is not your thing, they have so much more to offer. And the service was great too. We will DEFINITELY be going back. Alas, I only write online reviews when I'm positively inspired and have something nice to say.
