Good Japanese food at moderate prices.
Friendly service, really nice food. Simply a good place. Staff had that balance of a sense of humour and a good level of service. Portions generous, good selection of dishes. Little outside of the main area of the woodlands but worth the trip. Iâll be back !

My wife and I went for lunch and left a bit disappointed. This was our first time weâd visited the woodlands location and the food was good as weâve come to expect from Houston location, however the ambiance was very different. We had a table beside the tills and I was sat looking at untidy shelves with rolls of receipts and cleaning products etc. On top of that the staff stood around there laughing and joking amongst themselves which I found quite offputting as it was so close to our table. Maybe a take on the overall attitude but most of the staff didnât seem to be particularly interested and had their shirts hanging out etc.My wifeâs food arrived well before mine which is a real pet hate of mine, either one person starts by themselves or the other person sits with nothing while the other eats. Not the end of the world but I certainly didnât leave feeling that it was a particularly good experience despite the food being good. If I do go back it definitely wonât be for lunch, I do suspect they probably up their game in the evenings in terms of service.Rudhachs,The Blue Fish Restaurants would like to thank you for sharing your experience at The Blue Fish Woodlands. I sat at the sushi bar. It was a busy friday night but was able to find a spot immediately. The waiter was very quick to introduce himself and take my drink order. I ordered 2 rolls and did some people watching while i waited. The rolls came out relatively quickly and were delicious. I recommend the U&I and Tiger Eye. (I have also had the alfredo roll and the edamame on a different occasion) very clean restaurant located in market street next to a theater and the pavilion. Lots of shopping located near as well.

Not many places to eat driving around but this place was an they were cooking up a storm! We all were seated and with limited staff they served up fresh, hot, food for everyone. Bar was open too. And with sheets of rain pouring outside they laid on the Texas hospitality and made us feel so at home. I had a sushi plate which I had not had in years. Too good! Sushi #A is a good value. Try this place.

Had the gulf oysters, tuna and salmon - all well prepared, plated and fresh. Extremely reasonable pricing considering the selection and quality. Dining area is well layer out with plenty of space between tables and although it was very busy, it was quiet.Service was friendly and attentive, but, slow - the only reason I could not give 5 stars.
