We decided to give Koi a second chance after the disaster of our prior visit. Again visited by the very polite front of house, who appreciated us coming back. Again the starters were very good from the menu didn't come out the quickest but they were of a good standard when they arrived. The Sushi has to be the best thing on the menu it didn't take long to come its very nice and they have a good selection.Mains - Again issues first of all the wait time completely unacceptable, the quality of the food not very good at all. The original beef dish they do, meat very very chewy and not good quality. Overall just not good. After giving the restaurant a second chance we wouldn't visit again, if you are going to visit I would suggest just sticking to the sushi dishes. If you are coming here to take advantage of the all you can eat style menu I would arrive early as dishes take a long time to be served.

This restaurant leaves you feeling like you have stepped into a different country all together! From being greeted as you enter to the staffs interest in giving you the best experience. I was especially impressed in how they take dietary restrictions seriously as when i had asked for a dish because it had vegetables they informed me it was made with and egg base in case I was vegan.

We went for a dinner in St Julian's Club Sushi on Ball Street. The restaurant was fairly busy modern, however, I was surprised that having ordered hot sake I was served chilled sake and two whiskey tumblers to pour it into. The sashimi was fresh and served properly, but the portions were about one third of what you get served elsewhere in the world. Dumplings instead of the basked were served on the wooden board. The Service was very slow and untrained. The used dishes were place on the course get right next to freshly issued by the kitchen. Perhaps it is z good place for a social drink, alas not for a sushi dinner.

For over a decade, Zest has pioneered the Asian fusion culinary concept in Malta. Boasting some of the best Asian and Continental cuisine on our islands, including exquisite sushi made with fresh, local seafood, Zest's menu will take you on an exciting cu
But the service is poor. There is no smile, the waiters are very confused and don't have any fun. And obviously they are just don't care about anything. You don't feel welcome at all.... So the experience is spoiled and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

On a business trip to malta, an internet review brings me to Kuya. I was not disappointed. Small funky and amazing value. Superb fresh food and super friendly people. The Menu small and concise. Amazing flavour and really fresh ingredients. This is a real treasure.

A short way from the crazy hustle and bustle of St.Julian, SushiBa offered a lovely reprieve from all the tourists. It is a small and casual restaurant, so be sure to book.Food was made as one ordered and the selection was large! My husband had the Chef's choice and was thrilled with the wide selection of fish and seafood.I had a salad, avo maki and a prawn roll. Everything we had was delicious and all the fish was extremely fresh. The owner offered excellent service and went out of his way to make sure we had a lovely meal.We will return!!Thank you so much. Looking forward to your next visit. Nik & Donna

So you thought Japanese food is all light tasting and delicate? Think again! Fried foods are a common part of Japanese diet and food culture. The cooking process of these fried foods is refined to a subtle art, resulting in crispy and golden, yet surprisi
My partner and I started using their service way back when they had Bento Boxes, or lunch boxed, for delivery. The food was put in a box with compartments so as not to mix each ingredient with one another. This enhances the taste of each food item. The shop is extremely well kept and designed in a way to mimic Japanese restaurants and typical Izakaya, or informal Japanese pubs. It is quite cosy and boasts various Japanese memorabilia, usually depending on the period with carp flags (koinobori) to represent 'Children's Day' in Japan or Happi vests on the walls. The entertainment is music from Japan which is very atmospheric. The food was always good, be it Bento boxes, deep fried chicken or pork, curries or soups. the portions are filling and satisfying. The desserts are mostly green tea/matcha based.Tokyo Fried House also offer delivery service, with most of the items on the menu being available for delivery. I have personally ordered food for work and the delivery service is always impeccable. At times, I received complimentary miso soup with the order which is always welcome. The staff is courteous, hospitable and ready to serve. It is always a pleasurable experience which I highly recommend to others.Thank you for recommended our restaurant's atmosphere and delivery menu!!We strive to make our customers feel comfortable eating :)See you next time and please use our delivery service again.
