I come here for sushi frequently because it is convenient based on where I live, but the quality is not great, it is fairly overpriced, and the staff is usually rude and abrupt. Nothing has ever been spoiled or tasted less-than-fresh, but the sushi here just never tastes as good to me here as it does elsewhere. Came here for hibachi once and we were pretty disappointed in all aspects of the meal-- much better hibachi options elsewhere. Would give sushi 3.5/5 , hibachi 2/5.

We had the California Sushi Roll and Beef Lomein dinner. Both were excellent. This restaurant was a welcome surprise after a long day on the road. The venue was spotless, It was attached to a Quality Inn which made it very convenient for us. The service was excellent and we will return.

I'm picky with my food, well my Japanese food. Having gone several places calling themselves Japanese, I am glad to have tried this one out. Just opened so figured I'd not only give them the 5 stars they deserve, but the Yelp page they need to get more word of their food out. It is more like Japanese/Korean, so there are plenty of Korean options as well. I had their seafood soba which was delicious, but someone in our party had the Korean Hae Do Bap which they liked and both being seafood, were fresh. Funny thing is that to me the most exciting part, not to their mistake, is the ginger dressing that comes with the salad. Being Korean/Japanese, they bring out some small dishes at first, including the salad. Whenever I go to Japanese restaurants I look forward for the ginger dressing and this one rocked. I could get full off these small dishes, or as Koreans would call it, Banchan (sorry for the wrong phonetic spelling). Well I did get full but being a foody, ate some of the soba and only relished eating the Hae Do Bap, which looked so good. Then came the part I came for, the sushi. They offer a large, very large, assortment of rolls, but we went with the 2-3 family boat. It had about 4 types of rolls and then some sashimi. As its name points out, it comes out served on a lovely wooden boat. From the food, to the decor, to even small idiosyncratic points of interests in the whole presentation made this a memorable experience. I look at the small things so even the beautifully elegant doilies caught my eye and again kudos to the decor that yells Japanese, but contemporary nonetheless. Next time I'd probably give the Korean dishes a try and make more room for dessert.

Valentine roll today. So delish and adorable too. Family had their standard sesame chicken, which is all white meat and not greasy, and teriyaki salmon which was done nicely. Love that brown rice is always an option and still delicious. Lovely prompt service. Try the hot and sour soup! I feel like there's so much goodness in that it could cure cancer!

Friends and I went here after bowling. We had a reservation for 7pm and when we walked in, there were literally about 35-40 people waiting for tables. You couldn't even get in the place. It seems everyone had the same idea, go bowling then go to Mazuki. We waited for over an hour to get to our table, but at this point, it was like a Seinfeld episode - we didn't want to leave, thinking our name would be called next. After waiting so long, the food was good, but who can really say, since at that point I was starving and would have eaten anything. The Hibachi was the typical experience, the fire, the little peeing boy bottle that puts it out. Ha. Ha. It was decent though, and I would try it again, but probably not on a Saturday night.

We had Sashimi which tasted super fresh and was very tasty. Wasabi was really spicy. We had two Habachi orders and they were fairly priced and very tasty. We also ordered rolls and thy also other then a beef were very good. First time there, but would go back. I suggest the dining room unless there are children for the Habachi.
