Typical Japanese/Chinese Buffet with a nice selection of sushi roll, Hibachi style cooking and clean and comfortable dining area. Free parking provided at the parking garage behind the store. Great value.

Busy new restaurant joins the Stamford restaurant scene. I was there on a busy Thursday night. Was seated pretty quickly. Noodle soup selection satisfied both me (a 'picky' eater) and my friend (no fussiness). We started with the Japanese fried chicken (the latest rage for foodies, i've heard). The chicken was a good-sized portion, delightfully crispy and not greasy, with a light coating. The restaurant has an 'open' setting so it was easy to see what our fellow diners were eating. Customers around us were enjoying the buns, which looked very robust, overflowing with good stuff. (We also saw the mini-dons and will try them next time). We then moved onto our ramen. My friend ordered the Kaisen (seafood) ramen, which was bursting to the top of the bowl with broth and various types of seafood, including what tasted (she said ) of real crab, clams, a shrimp and a few scallops. My friend said that the broth was fragrant and perfectly seasoned. I chose Shio (chicken) ramen (without the egg). The huge bowl of ramen, chicken and veggies was perfectly satisfying on a cold winter day.Service was excellent. All in all, it was a very positive dining experience, reasonably priced, and more authentic than I expected. Only one thing that they could improve: no gift certificates are available for purchase. Maybe they'll add this service soon.

I come here all the time for all you can eat (and all you can drink sake). The sushi is some of the best around. The special rolls are awesome. The items on the kitchen menu are tasty as well. All you can eat lunch is good but a limited menu compared to dinner.

Ocha is a great restaurant within walking distance of downtown Stamford in Prospect street. The menu is very extensive offering both Japanese and Thai cuisine. The sushi is fresh, outstanding and not terribly expensive. In fact it one of the more price friendly restaurants in downtown. I went on a Friday night and they were not crowded. Easily found a table. They do a good take out business as well. Enjoy!

concept is really cool...all you can eat hibachi and sushi. The hibachi is good, though be careful if you have allergies because everything is cooked on the same grill top. Waitresses are usually sitting down eating and it can take forever to get refills on drinks.

Very friendly atmosphere, small, and quaint. The server was very attentive and polite and even offered me complimentary tea as I waited for my take out order. A few mins later, the food arrived nicely packaged. I was happy to be there. They even hung up one of my posters promoting an upcoming Brew and Whiskey Festival in Stamford. Kotubuki, you are #1 in my book, I'll be back!!

Had a quick meal here on arrival after traveling from the UK. I only wanted a small snack size meal and ordered a soup and a starter. There was more than enough and I didn't manage to eat everything. The quality was good and the service good. Thank you for taking the time to post a review! I'm so glad you enjoyed our service and our food. We hope to see you again soon!

From the small thoughtful touches all the way through the tantalizingly great sushi and sashimi, everything here just works - flawlessly! With some of the freshest and best-prepared sushi I've seen in Stamford, Kashi is now our "must-go" - plus the prices are very reasonable (!), so we had an amazing meal for the same price we would have paid at a much more mediocre restaurant! The chefs obviously love what they do an their passion shows through, roll after roll, slice by slice....

We were in the area for another event and stopped here based on TripAdvisor reviews. So glad that we did!! Pleasant waitstaff, delicious food, interesting menu, good sized portions, not over priced, excellent quality. An overall enjoyable experience. The only downside is not near our home. If we lived closer, weâd go here all the time. We would definitely go back!
