Umi's is by far one of the best restaurant in the north Stafford area. It is clean, the food is fresh, and the service is fabulous. They offer plenty of free parking in their parking lot and are easy to get to. We have gone several times and have always had excellent food. Their sushi is the best, but their other menu items such as tempura or noodles are excellent as well. The wait staff has alway been friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a long bar area as well as a nice dining room.

Stopped here for dinner on a business trip. Food was outstanding! The tempura was delicious and the steak dinner was wonderful. Good show as well. Great place for dinner on business or with family and friends. Enjoyed the soup and salad as well. Highly recommend.

I went here after being sent an email advertisement. I went to their website and Facebook page, which offered a $2 discount per person. There were 4 of us. We were seated without any problems. We were asked for our drinks, later realized that drinks were not included and that we paid $2.50 for each soda. We ate our food. It was about 730pm, so some of the food was old and had been sitting a few hours, especially the deep fried items. There were a lot.of different choices so the variety was good. Taste of the food was average at best. When we got the bill, I asked to apply the discount. The Facebook page said it was an online coupon, but the waitress insisted we needed to print it out. Well, I didn't have the printout and pointed out that it was an online coupon and even showed it to her. She made it a point to find reasons why she would not allow us to use it. Well, in this case, despite my attempts to point her back to the Facebook online coupon, she still refused. In this case, she failed to follow the basic premise that the customer is always right, and I was. They should have honored the online coupon and made me as a customer happy. I walked away as an unhappy camper. I told all of my colleagues about this poor experience. We never went back. We spent over $75 even without the discount. Well, she refused and we simply paid the bill. The $8 that we would have saved would have gone back as a tip. So, since we had to essentially get our own food, we refused to leave any tip whatsoever. Too bad for them.
