I haven't even gotten a chance to delve into the ramen section or hot pot section of the menu as I tend to come here solely for the tapas! Entire wait staff as well as the chef is Japanese. Big points in my book. I usually sit at the bar on the corner to see all of the "Action" behind the grill. Many favorites here. Both the Soft Shell Crab salad and Smoked Duck and Avocado salads are amazing. The carrot-ginger dressing is handmade and delicious! The #1 thing I come for is the Eihire - Dried Ray. This is a dried, then grilled piece of skate wing. Accompanied by a dab of Kewpie mayo. It's to die for. And a great munchie to compliment a few brewskis. Other must haves include Shishamo fish - grilled. Maine Uni Sashimi. Magret grilled Duck breast, Berkshire Pork Belly, Red Ebi, Momo, Kawa and a surprise to me - Japanese Pork Sausage. Limited parking in the back. Open later than most spots in Bergen County! Closed mondays. Things look cheap at first, but next thing you know, you're 6 dishes deep and things add up! You've been forewarned! haha Enjoy!
