Kakiokonomiyaki (oyster) is the best! Their yakisoba also tastes good. It's also near Shirarahama beach, very accessible. It gets a little bit crowded during dinner, bc it's quite popular with locals. The interior is also clean, and has tables with stove for groups. They cook the soba and okonomiyaki, but you can place it over the stove to keep warm.

I had a lunch with my wife and her family. The restaurant is near the popular big hotel "Musashi hotel" in Shirahama. I ordered course menu with Sushi and tempura with around 20 EUR. This course was tasty and the performance on cost was very good. I loved the Sushi with sea urchin "UNI" the best. This restaurant is recommendable for those who want to enjoy the tasty Japanese cuisine with reasonable cost.

We bought some sashimi from the restaurant and brought it back into our hotel for our afternoon tea. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. It had sufficient fish taste and was really well made by staff from the shop. Service was good and waiters recommended sashimi for us upon our arrival to attract more customers. They even had a Tuna Fish cutting experience during our shopping period (which is seen in dozens of different restaurants). The price was really cheap and very reasonable. It was around $30-40 HKD which you cannot enjoy a good meal with this little price. Lovely!Overall, very good meal. Reasonable price accompanied with delicious sashimi. Well done on receiving 5 star tripadvisor ranking!

Lively fresh seafood from the beautiful sea of Nanki in Kishu, such as authentic spiny lobsters, is central player in our restaurant. Located just in front of Nanki Shirahama's symbol "Engetsu Island," all seats in the restaurant have the ocean views. The
Sangosho is a seafood restaurant a bit further out from Shirahama Beach about 9 minutes taxi drive. Specialty dishes here are fresh spider lobsters. Either grilled, sashimi or boiled. Sashimi was great because of freshness but boiled ones were a bit over cooked.Dear Mr.VallobhThank you very much for your impressions. What we serve you of the fun your trip with everyone?Next time will come prepare the cuisine of degree of fire of your favorite. We are looking forward to the day of the reunion.Thank you very much.

This restaurant has an intriguing exterior but one which may cause visitors with little knowledge of Japanese to hesitate. There is no need. This is a very friendly little bar-restaurant with really gorgeous food and lovely waiting staff who are very willing to help you in navigating the menu - part translated into English. We had the mixed sashimi (very fresh and as good as weâve tasted anywhere), oden with radish, fried tofu and kamaboko stuffed with burdock root, smoked hair fin and spicy cods roe. It is popular so either go early (we went at 5.30) or make a reservation.

Wouldn't say that this restaurant is that good, pretty much the same as a kaisen sushi anywhere else in Tokyo. I didn't feel like the food was that great and I wouldn't put this in the top 10 in Shirahama.

We stopped in for an early dinner on a Wednesday evening when only a handful of locals were scattered around the tables. The staff were charming and fast to deliver an English menu. A tempura/sashimi set meal for me and a grilled fish set meal for my wife plus a large bottle of Asahi beer set us back all of $40. The food was delicious and a great value. We definitely recommend this place.

We went to the Ko Sushi restaurant for lunch prior to our arrival in Shirahama. The food was excellent, lobsters both sashimi made or grilled were fresh and very yummy indeed. The sushi and other seafood offered in the restaurant are of utmost excellence made by experienced chefs. The service was also excellent, waiters enjoy their work in the restaurant and staff even proactively gave us tea in a new cup and wet towels. The ambience was very good, it is filled with Japanese styled environment such as a small lake outside installed with flowing water. The tatami styled dining area was cosy and installed with a heater, which gave warmth to our feet. The price was although expensive, quite reasonable. Staff even gave some mandarins to us without a charge. Overall, a really excellent meal and deserves the five star tripadvisor ranking. Well Done!
