Good , fresh , inexpensive , kind ....Difficult to find something negative here .Attention , the place is very small so reservation is necessary .With 3 bottles of sake , 4 beers , 3 glasses of wine and plenty of sushi , sashimi etc ... 133 € for 4 people is difficult to beat !

Sushiya Aoyama

One year after the closing of Sushiya Aoyama’s at Plaza Sa Drassaneta, we are back in a new location, in the center of Ibiza town and very closed to the courthouse, in a tiny and narrow street, C/ Arquebisbe Cardona Riera, 4. Open all year long for lunch

Sorry guys but this ain't 4.5. It's a case it Brits, Americans and German's romanticising an old battered side street and feeling quasi Southern European and quaint. Not enough to justify €2-3 per maki roll im afraid. Sushi is decent but simply overpriced - fish is very very small, and crab meat is not supposed to be a chopped prawn. the service is another level of slow and painful - two Spanish women buzzing around after 15 tables which makes it a loooong drawn out sober process while gypsies from Ibiza town pester your table. No soy sauce for first two dishes. We were literally sipping on water and looking at empty plates for what seemed To be a lifetime. Thats a very good written review, I like your style. Not so good for us I guess so yes Im sorry you didn't like it. You know what? Its not a place for British! You people from the UK dont like our area usually. We have many locals, Spanish, Dutch, French and Italian customers but not British. The area is special we all know that and you like it or hate it, when you hate it, theres no way I think you can enjoy the foodI still think its a beautiful romantic and underground place - I have to love it!Really bad about the soja, thats completely wrong of course - but crab meat is not prawn, may be there was a mistake there! Theres a sustancial difference with California Royal (crab meat) and California (prawn), so dont know what could happened! To finish with the maki piece is never more than 2€ - so not sure if its overpriced when its filled with tuna or toro, which is very expensive fish. At leat I hope you had a nice holiday in Ibiza, not happy to read you were disappointed! :(Elena
