We had the bento box with sashimi and the chinese chicken salad. The service was fast and the food was pretty good.

Masumi is a very popular Japanese restaurant with a large varied menu. Very long list of sushi and Japanese dishes. I believe most dishes come with miso soup and rice. My dinner bento with spicy tuna roll and tempura shrimp and veggies was good. Our party had a variety of dishes including lomi lomi sushi, fried gyoza, dragon roll sushi, vegetable tempura, udon and other dishes which all was good to excellent.

There is plenty of room for both small and large groups. Recently I have had lunch there twice-once by myself and the second time with a larger family group. From what others said, the sushi is excellent. I had salmon teriyaki one time and chicken teriyaki with the family, plus California rolls. The portion size are large and they serve soup and salad with the lunches and dinners-all excellent. My only minor complaint is I thought the tempura was too oily/greasy, and so I avoided ordering it a second time. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent.

Many restaurants seem to decline over the years for various reasons. This restaurant continues to deliver excellent meals and service at a reasonable price in a nice environment with nice people. The Peanut Chicken lunch or dinner is an excellent choice. It is a great tasting meal that includes peanuts. I have been unable to find anything comparable elsewhere. The shrimp tempura is served hot and crispy. The shrimp are large and excellent in taste. Please see my other reviews about this restaurant. It has not changed. The same good people are preparing and serving the food.

4.0 star rating4/11/2016Been a while since we've been there. I forgot about the sushi bar. LOVED it! So many choices to select and very tasty. That's all I had. I never remember the names, dang me. However, I recall my new favorite having bean curd. So refreshing and tasty. Funny how the first one I had didn't have much cream cheese, the my next trip to the bar, the one I chose had much more cream cheese, which I don't really care for. Also loved the eel rolls. Delicious! On a separate note, while I was washing my hands in the ladies room, a fellow patron and her child emerged from the stall and headed straight out without washing their hands. I and another patron in the ladies room were pretty grossed out. Just beware patrons, that not everyone is hygiene conscious so wash your hands constantly throughout your visits to restaurants, especially buffets. This woman and her child returned to the buffet. Yowza!Anyhoo, thank you staff at Hibachi! Great food, great service, and love those lit up trees!I'm thrilled that you've always enjoyed our buffet, Becca, and that our sushi is such a favorite of yours. What's more, I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences, and I hope you've been by again since! Fondly, Ivy, Manager
