Where to eat Barbecue food in Hayashima-cho: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I often use the restaurant for casual lunch. Reasonable, filling, and good service. They have some dishes with cat fish. you may want to try if never had before. Not too bad, i thought. When in season, they serve crayfish. I thought the taste similar to lobster!

Top 10 Japanese food in Iwaizumi-cho, Iwate Prefecture, Japan
Ideal for a party consits of all generations, they serve varieies of home-made meals ranging from soba noodles to shabu-shabu, tempura to tonkatsu. I go there a few times a month, and see the local people spend all afternoon relaxing. Sakae Town is a small sleepy town, but this place is always busy with happily chatting villagers. Their service is superb; quick and courteous. All you can drink.

Saitama Prefecture, Japan Food Guide: 3 Asian food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Wako
We came to this restaurant for my father-in-law's birthday lunch. He wanted to celebrate with grilled eel. I searched for an eel restaurant in Chiba Prefecture. I knew there are some good eel restaurants in Narita City as you approach Shinshouji Buddhist Temple from the station. However parking is quite limited. So we chose this restaurant by the Tone River, a bit away from Narita, but with parking and good reviews. Eels could be found in many rivers and swamps in Japan, but with industrialization their habitats have been lost to the stage that almost 100 per cent of the grilled eels served in the restaurants are farmed or imported. The price of a grilled eel meal at a good restaurant is around four thousand yen now. We arrived at noon time. We were concerned if the restaurant was full but luckily we were immediately shown to one of the table seats close to the entrance area. The rear of the restaurant were all tatami rooms, some with group guests. We noticed that the staff were busy serving the group guests, but think it took less than thirty minutes to be served. Waiting long to be served is typical at eel restaurants, so we had ordered fried river shrimps separately which was served before the eels. We were a party of four and we were all impressed with the grilled eel, which was not too sweet and smelled good as they should. There are two types of grilled eel style. The Kanto style, where the prepared eel undergoes a primary grilling and steaming before grilling with soy sauce and sweet sake. The Kansai style does not have the steaming process in between. This restaurant's homepage tells us that they have merged the Kanto style steaming with a Kansai style grilling to create its unique dish. It was truly a most enjoyable unajuu (grilled eel on a bed of rice in a box).

We were fortunate to be served with the unagi locally caught! Compared to Naritasan Omote Sando, the price here was a half! and freshly caught from the Tone River, not of aqua-cultured (which all Narita restaurants serve). We also had a traditional lunch box, called Shokado Bento, with a variety of small side dishes beautifully arranged. Such a visual feast as well!Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Sakae Town.
