I've been going to Niko's for over 10 years, it's consistently been the best teriyaki restaurant I've found on the Eastside. The portions are generous and tasty, and the prices are fair. I always try to stop by if I'm in the area and jonesin' for some yummy teriyaki, and my family always is eager for me to bring dinner home when I'm in Redmond. In addition to their delicious teriyaki, they make terrific yakisoba and tempura, which is never greasy. Highly recommended!

Another coworker lunch. Ambiance nice, clean, attentive staff. Started with miso soup, very good. Then had a bento box with gyoza, steak teriyaki, and salmon teriyaki. Gyoza good but not hot enough. Steak quality mediocre. Salmon OK, perhaps a little dry. An acceptable place for lunch but nothing special.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years and it's always been fabulous. Starting eating here 20 yrs ago when the dad ran it. Now his son has taken over and the service is a little friendly and the food is just as good. It's a fast food place with small seating area but the teriyaki chicken is fantastic.

We brought a bunch of teenage boys here after a soccer game, for lunch. Service was fast, servings enormous, excellent food. Most boys had the chicken teriyaki, it was a huge mound of chicken (looked like thigh meat which tastes way better than breast and doesn't dry out) and a similarly huge mound of white rice (but you can ask for brown). Good sauce, not too much, not too salty, just right. None of the boys could finish, there were takeout boxes which was great. All for $10 including tax....what a deal. They also do takeout. Other options included sweet and sour, katsu, tempura. Totally taking the kids back!

Have had excellent lunches at this restaurant. I tried it for dinner and the food was disappointing. We had a curry katsu; presentation was pretty sparse and taste only average; value was poor. Had the tempura dinner and it was a bit oily and had little taste; quantity was good. Also had a California Roll that was excellent. Service was so so with merely taking the order and bringing out the food. Nothing special.
